All our daughters just got shoved back 50 years so this is not about pretty signs unless you are ignorant Vote for forced birther oppressors or vote to protect your and my daughter's rights. The stakes are real and significant. |
I welcome a No Labels candidate to the upcoming presidential election.
We need a good, middle of the road candidate. Someone who can offer the country common-sense solutions without drama, or concerns about that person’s health. |
The no labels candidate is in effect the same as Trump. The actual result is Dems vs. Republicans/no labels. You may wish it to be different but that is the system. |
Not for Republicans like the PP you’re responding to; they’re getting everything they ever wanted with the amount of fascists burrowed in and around. |
Unless you are in a swing state, it makes no difference. Write in Oprah or George Washington if you want. If you are voting in a swing state you in effect vote for Biden or Trump/third party. That is just the way the cookie crumbles. |
Ergo: Republicans should vote for No Labels. For the rest of us, it makes no sense. |
No, they really don’t. And this time a 3rd party has a better chance than most elections if Trump and Biden are the major party candidates. Not sure I will vote 3rd party but it is intriguing. |
No they don't. There is ZERO chance for a third party to win an election. The best it can do is take enough votes away from one of the GOP or Dems for the other to win. Jill Stein and the "Greens" did it to Hillary, and "No Labels" intends to do it to Biden. If you want Trump, vote Trump or No Labels. If you want the Dems, then vote for Biden. There is no middle ground in this cycle. Perhaps in the future, but not in 2024. |
Again, no one believes that you’re anything but a Republican. Normal people understand what is on the line here and Republicans aren’t normal, hence why they’re wiling to sit online and pretend to be not Republican. |
swing and a miss. I supported Biden though I would personally like to see both major parties implode. |
By normal people you mean beltway partisans, not people outside of it. And nope, not a Republican. Not sure why you always push people to identify as Republican. It’s as if you want them to vote that way. It’s exhausting watching Dems canabalizing their own supporters. I had an interesting convo about this with some of Tlaib’s people when I was back home. They agreed with me. |

I guess it’s fun to have a breezy and pithy attitude when your health isn’t at stake.
Bully for you. |
Swing and a miss. Just a regular us citizen with women in my life to protect like everyone else. |
This is what I’m saying as I call every single “moderate” and “independent” and “I voted Democrat but” voter on a Republican. We can still get our country back on track and off this weird medieval-but-with-cell-phones thing that regressives want, but if too many would be Democratic voters peel off “because both parties should implode” (seriously effed up and stupid take, PP) and vote third party, we’re done. The GOP has got to be beat all the way back to such a place of loss that they drop the extremism and stupidity that has hallmarked that party for years. |
