Is the GOP worried about its survival?

Then we need more inspectors to make sure the kitchens are clean. That isn't an immigration issue, despite your racist suggestion otherwise.

Do you really think immigrants prefer to eat spoiled foods in unclean places?

If people want to wonder why the GOP stinnks, look no further than the infrastructure bill or the follow on broadband announcement. The GOP voted against both, but to a politician they are all extolling the importance of broadband and excited to announce the rollout of investment.

When called out, they walk away.

How hard it is to support good legislation and work in a bi-partisan manner o things that are important?

Instead, we get this:

Republican priorities that will carry the base plus 75-80% of moderates:

Energy independence
Reducing inflation
Improving educational opportunities
Protecting women’s sports
Returning manufacturing, to include chip manufacturing
Reducing taxes

REALITY CHECK on those items:

Coal and oil are not energy independence. We need to diversify our domestic energy portfolio to include wind, solar, and other means of energy production, but Republicans oppose those.
Republicans have no proposals to reduce inflation
Republicans are undermining education and their SCOTUS just removed opportunities at higher education from minorities.
Republicans are undermining WOMEN via healthcare and other protections. They don't care about women's sports, it's purely about bigotry.
It was the DEMOCRATS who pushed the Chips & Technology bill, the DEMOCRATS who are returning manufacturing. More new manufacturing plants have been opening under Biden than did under Trump
Republicans want to reduce taxes for the rich and big businesses, at the expense of everyone else

Facts matter.

Not entirely. Florida paid in $206.27 billion in federal taxes but received $382.21 in federal aid.

Sure. Just like in the midterms. And since then...GOP has done so many things to attract those moderates like overturn roe and sponsor an insurrection.

Energy independence Biden is doing this through bills recently passed, but not by the GOP
Reducing inflation Biden is doing this through bills recently passed, but not by the GOP
Improving educational opportunities Biden is doing this through bills recently passed, but not by the GOP
Protecting women’s sports If the 10 humans across the country that were born male and want to compete in women's sports is that much of an issue for you, than bully. Why not ask the GOP congress to pass a law?
Returning manufacturing, to include chip manufacturing Biden is doing this through bills recently passed, but not by the GOP and already 800,000 manufacturing jobs have been created in the US over the last 18 months
Reducing taxes And....increase the debt and deficit spending? No thanks, that isn't fiscally responsible

They've done nothing to distance themselves from the extremists. In fact, they are still dancing in the streets over the overturn of Roe and continuing to push it in state legislatures, and continue to refer to the violent J6 MAGAs as "harmless tourists who were unfairly jailed" and "patriots"

+1000

Republicans are deeply delusional if they think they have any claims to make or a leg to stand on with regard to any of those issues.

They've been pretty open about that from the start, to anyone who paid attention to American history.

Trump's "America first" slogan was used by the US Nazis before World War Two.

+1 Also: more mass and schooling shootings. They're a small price to pay for supporting our American firearms industry.

REALITY CHECK on those items:

Coal and oil are not energy independence. We need to diversify our domestic energy portfolio to include wind, solar, and other means of energy production, but Republicans oppose those. Oil, gas and nuclear are energy independence without killing wales and replacing solar panels after hail storms.
Republicans have no proposals to reduce inflation Stop wasteful and unnecessary Government spending.
Republicans are undermining education and their SCOTUS just removed opportunities at higher education from minorities. Provide equal opportunity for all and will provide school choice to get out failed public schools.
Republicans are undermining WOMEN via healthcare and other protections. They don't care about women's sports, it's purely about bigotry. The vast majority of republicans support abortion protection similar to what exists in the rest of the civilized world up to 16 weeks with exceptions for rape, incest, and the health of the mother, not murder on the day of birth and no woman should be forced with a male.
It was the DEMOCRATS who pushed the Chips & Technology bill, the DEMOCRATS who are returning manufacturing. More new manufacturing plants have been opening under Biden than did under Trump Yes, because Trump got the ball rolling.
Republicans want to reduce taxes for the rich and big businesses, at the expense of everyone else No they want a vibrant economy driven by the public sector not the Government

Facts matter.
Yes, they do
