I’m 46. My friend’s dad (Silent Generation) said he had no idea who these people were. 🙄

Silent Generation? So 80+?

No, he’s in his late 70s. Silent Generation is just before the Boomers. Last births in 1945. Most GenXers’ parents are Silent Generation, or the oldest Boomers.

I thought the halftime show was good. But it seemed too short. Coulda done without 50 and Kendrick Lamar. Wish it had all been Dre, Snoop, MLB and Eminem.

Mary J has a million other songs she could have picked.

Maybe it was the song, but she sounded pretty bad. That drop to the end wasn't a good ideal either, or the prison jumpsuits. Not a good look for black culture! As usual liberal media is giving it praises while many are saying the opposite. Not the worst halftime, but it was up there with "tacky" which is no surprise with the NFL. There were some good commercials this year.

Are you black? Bc if you were then you see the actual comments on black Twitter are opposite of what you are claiming.

And the comments from NOT black twitter are the opposite.

And some of them are hilarious. SEXUAL ANARCHY!!!1!1!!!1!

This isn’t surprising or a shocker. If it had been country music chances are it would’ve only appeal to whites.

I really like Kendrick Lamar as an artist, but I felt like he didn't really fit in with the whole show. They should have left 50 Cent out.

Here's the whole thing for anyone who didn't see it live:

I really liked it. It was really fun. Snoop always looks like he's having a great time.

Is this a real question?

50 is from NY

It doesn’t matter. He and Em were signed by Dre. Everyone knows about East West history.

I don't believe that's common knowledge. Dcum isn't the place for rap scholars, ya know?

Seriously? It's common knowledge. You don't have to be a rap scholar to know about East West history.

Boring and tacky. Prison jump suits?

Eminem did not get fat and he is aging well. He still looks angry though. But yeah, Snoop looked the best and has the best personality.

You gotta give it to Snoop. He started the day hosting Puppy Bowl with Martha Stewart and ended it with the Halftime Show performing alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J Blige, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar. My teens had no idea he has been around since the early 90s. He sure knows how to keep himself relevant and reinvent himself.

I love Snoop as well!
