Lol, I do declare ... I'm calling it. This is the lady with the "Starbucks" 25-year-old "kid" who called her mommy from the Reston Starbucks to report that two men were filming her while she was drinking a hot bevy., so now the reason why she froze up and didn't know what to do is because of her second-grade teacher, the one she had 18 years ago, told her to stop being such a Karen and that snitches get stitches. Got it! Thanks for updating us. |
Maybe you should report the teachers and the Starbucks Pervs to the Governor's tip line! |

Provide links or it didn’t happen. This is just such absolute BS and not at ALL what parents are upset about. But then, you know that. |
Exactly. These comments and posters making them are beyond ignorant. |
Not BS...google it. Many links have already been provided in this thread. You are just choosing to ignore them. |
+1,000,000 This is the best synopsis I’ve ever seen. |
What?? No one is objecting to the teaching of factual history, including slavery. Amazing how you continue to twist and spin what the actual issue is. |
DP. I think what you’re so grossly missing is that many conservatives ARE themselves multiracial. And it’s clearly YOU who is terrified about that. |
Nope. Are you new here? You make a claim, you provide the links. But you can’t because you’re a liar. |
Except when it benefits you to be judged on color, a la affirmative action, amirite? ![]() |
Why should anyone provide you links you won’t click through to read to news stories you should have already seen? Why should anyone waste their time for you to ignore the results? |
There have been many links provided in this thread. You have chosen to ignore them. |
They're just objecting to teaching that there are still repercussions in today's world because of race-based slavery and legal segregation, which ended only a half century ago. And they're against making white kids "uncomfortable" when they hear that slavery was based on racism because of centuries of whites believing blacks to be inferior, and learn how truly awful many white people of their grandparent's generation--not that long ago-- treated black people, and that some of the practices of legal segregation, including redlining, still have ramifications in today's world. They don't want their kids to think about how black Americans today might still be affected by the legal racism their parents/grandparents/ancestors faced, in terms of family wealth accumulation, neighborhoods they grew up in (and what that means for their trajectory in life), etc. The horror of learning that kind of thinking history! Apparently it makes white kids feel too guilty to think, instead of memorizing rote facts. Wonder if German-Americans can petition that schools not talk about how centuries of virulent antisemitism, including institutional antisemitism and legal regulations that kept Jews apart from society, along with a particular German culture of obedience led to the horrors of the Holocaust, and to hear that antisemitism still exists in Germany (and elsewhere) today, since it might make people of German ancestry feel uncomfortable. |
This is what the tip line is trying to ‘catch’:
A teacher tells the class that White people hurled insults atJackie Robinson. They get ‘reported’ for not saying ‘some’ people and that “hurled” is too strong a word. This is why the whole idea is crazy. |
