What a disappointment. Didn't someone here recently predict that the best principals would be leaving DCPS?

| Very disappointing. She's going to work for New Schools Venture Fund and will hopefully use her expertise to improve or create other outstanding middle schools in other wards. |

DCPS principal is a thankless job that has gotten only more challenging with the advent of IMPACT and the amount of time it takes from a principal's day.
It's a sad day for DCPS, but I'm sure Kim will be better compensated for working far fewer and less stressful hours. She did a lot of good for students in DCPS and even though we didn't get a spot in the school, I've always been very impressed by Kim and Deal. I wish her the best of luck. |
