What years, 2008? The biggest loss margin in the past 11years (Laxnumbers limit) is 15 goals in 2021. No one in this program was around then so I don't know why we feel the need for grace here. If they scored 11-12 in the 1st, that's a goal ever min, you're not running an offense at that point, you're just winning the FO and dodging on repeat. 27 goals, you're scoring ever 2 mins avg in the game; you can't tell me they held back. Wakefield has been on the other end of these types of games for the majority of their history so maybe we should show them some grace and compassion. |
| Correct, as I said they let the first quarter get away from them. They needed to shut down transition earlier. They will learn. |
As of now, concur |
| Credit to Wakefield for playing the game and not backing out just because they knew they would lose |
Didn't watch the game (yet?) so I don't know how it all went down. But sometimes you put in backups and they can still score readily. At some point the losing team has to be able to stop goals from being scored, it's a "lose lose" when a winning team is obviously passing it around to kill the clock. For some reason MaxPreps has been thinking Wakefield HS is Wakefield school and incorrectly listing them in schedules, but according to MaxPreps (because you can't effing check schedules on the actual HS athletics' pages still) JV also played Wakefield last night - https://www.maxpreps.com/va/herndon/herndon-hornets/lacrosse/jv/schedule/ You can't play JV guys in both games, so there were no "call ups" to put in. Just your back ups. |
Why "more" interesting? |
Idk about putting YT in a tier with the two teams they just blew out |
| How about LIGHTRIDGE over Broad Run 16-11. Looks like at least a playoff team in 5a. |
Is a 5a team beating a 4a team a big win? Their (your I guess) real schedule starts on the 28th, against Freedom South Riding (which is their first 5 opponent?). Smart to schedule BOC ahead of that. |

| Don't know why nobody is taking Langley, with all their suspensions figured out Stone Bridge will be no issue |
Why? Because they are not enough for the next tier up, thats why. That tier is for a wide swath of teams thzt are good, but not really good. If you put Robo up with the really good teams, they are "king of the rest", sure. |
