DP. Serious question: what is the matter with you? When Taylor Swift started out as a teen, decades ago, of course many of her fans were her age and younger. She probably has some today too, but the vast majority of her fans are those early fans, all grown up. You know, adults? You just sound incredibly immature every time you make that comment.

I guess I missed the Taylor Swift era. I am about 10 years older than her and I have no idea what songs she sings and frankly don’t get the hype, never did. She’s not a good musician imo. She is a manufactured generic girl woman. She is ridiculous. My kid is a Swiftie, enough said.

She is VERY popular. Not necessarily very talented. There are a million people with better voices than TS has. Her brand and production value is what sells, not her musical talent. Her team has done an excellent job in branding and marketing and promotions and production.

Yes, almost everyone with a prominent nose has had the tip shaved down. In addition to which, they truly do elevate the use of makeup to an art form. They can take a cute face and make it stunning. I saw photos of one of my favorite actresses without any makeup and she was unrecognizable as the person you see on TV and in movies. It's actually really cool what makeup artists can do.

I wish I could find another source but she is using primary source materials - shown on screen - in her summaries. Owens discusses Reynolds’s behavior during press before the film premieres, shows excerpts of how Reynolds’s, Reynolds’s mom (wtf) and Hugh Jackman (wtf x2) did stupid interview segments of the minor stars of the film for promo — after of course Baldoni was being pushed out from being a face of his own ultimately highly profitable film.

Owens also makes a pretty compelling argument that Reynolds’s is describing his own wife as a literal B in the character of “dog pool” where the female dog is described in the clip as being “90% G-Spot” and disloyal (“if you touch her the right way she starts looking for a new papa.”) I know Owens is rotten in too many ways to doubt; minutes 1-20ish show how much of an evil plotting creepy humorless freak Reynolds’s actually is. Minute 32 begins a discussion in the separate action regarding the PR firms. Most of the video is about this case, certainly the entire first hour.

Again - all of this is on topic, can we quit indulging the back and forth about Swift as a “songwritter” misspelling courtesy of her fan upthread? If anyone finds someone far less problematic doing deep dives please link!
