Taylor will be totally fine. I'm not a swiftie, but she's going to figure out how to rise above this -- I think the messaging of "it's just a friendship, I'm not involved in her professional life, and disappointed to be dragged into this" is actually exactly the right message. I'm sympathetic!

Yes, Taylor’s tween American girl Swifties will remain loyal.

DP. Serious question: what is the matter with you? When Taylor Swift started out as a teen, decades ago, of course many of her fans were her age and younger. She probably has some today too, but the vast majority of her fans are those early fans, all grown up. You know, adults? You just sound incredibly immature every time you make that comment.

I guess I missed the Taylor Swift era. I am about 10 years older than her and I have no idea what songs she sings and frankly don’t get the hype, never did. She’s not a good musician imo. She is a manufactured generic girl woman. She is ridiculous. My kid is a Swiftie, enough said.

Oh - you must be the bizarre poster on the TS thread who claimed she "ripped her daughter's TS posters down." I guess you consider yourself edgy and cool, somehow? I'm 20 years older than her and find her fantastic.

Nope, there are just far more talented musicians and entertainers out there. I’m more into raw talent, TS is like Britney and Justin Timberlake and all the early naughts manufactured hyped up, plastic, child entertainers. She’s no PJ Harvey, or Natalie Merchant, or Nicki Minaj, Karen O, or Donita Sparks, or Stevie Nicks, or Patti Smith, or Kim Deal, or Latetia Sadier, or Alanis Morisette, heck I even think Willow Smith is better. Just to name a few.

I disagree with about half of your list, but no matter. And millions of others disagree with you about Swift's talent.

His suit is aggressively bad -- hate the no-tie look and it somehow looks both try-hard and unfinished.

Her costume (that's what that is) looks absurd and I cannot imagine wearing that to anything but a Halloween party, but her body is pretty phenomenal especially when you remember that she's had four kids and the last one only like a year and half before this? She looks good and it must have been a ton of work to get there so fast.

Despite the terrible clothes, I think they both look good from the neck up. His expression is annoying but she always looks beautiful. She's a beautiful woman.

Beautiful after at least one rhinoplasty, upper bleph/possible lower, lip injections, porcelain veneers, gum reducing surgery, teeth whitening, botox, breast implants, self tanner, shall I go on…

I mean, who cares? I would not want to go through all that even if it meant looking like she does. Whatever she's had done, it looks totally natural and she looks great.

I just assume most Hollywood types who look that perfect have had work done. I don't really care that much.

But becoming intentionally fake is not beautiful.

For you. They don't live in the real world.

It’s relevant. She claimed retaliation in part because she freaked when her character’s styling (after she took it over) got described as horrible, and that was part of what spun her out claiming she was victim to a smear campaign. I mean she was absolutely smeared by people who don’t read Braille or rely on a seeing-eye dog named Biscuit.

“People were mean because they were hired and planted.” Or “sighted” or “posting on Lipstick Alley.”

She mentioned lipstickalley? Unfortunately I do think her insecurities will come up during the trial

If music doesn’t give me chills, it’s not good music. TS doesn’t give me chills. It’s a visceral thing.

I don't give a f what gives you chills. If you have not been to her concert, sit down. She is a legend. And a gifted songwritter and performer.
