With the baby thing, honestly, if I had to deal with my crying daughter and was low on sleep and trying to do everything I could to get her to calm down and nothing was working, and then a woman talking to me in a condescending tone I'd probably start crying to. Either that or curse the woman out. Remember that everyone deals with stress differently. There are some post on this thread that I agree with, like taking a mont long break is ridiculous, but others... I think we need to remember that we're all human.

Its not about that she started crying. Its that she feels the need to post that. To play the victim. To get validation from her followers. We all go through stuff like that everyday. She has the biggest ego ever. When she dosent get her way she cries about it and feels the need to play victim

Just another example of how radio works, Tommy McFly on 94.7 took the week off. Jen Richer took last week and this week off.

Darik is filling in, and said on air today that Tommy took the week off. Kelly is in studio as well.

It is good to see when morning drive can still go on with others take time off. Clearly, Kane can't handle others "doing his job".

Every single Dec the Kane show and a lot of major syndicated radio shows take 2-3 weeks off in December.. Every year I have been listening it's been done.. This year the Kane show took off a week earlier and no idea why.. It's a known fact they all take off.. Stop whining about it, it happens every single year..

I just can't help but wonder if her marriage is a scapegoat for the difficulties that can come after having a baby but that ultimately resolve as the baby gets older. I don't mean to dismiss her strife, but I don't think it's unusual to have hard time individually and as a couple after having a new baby, especially with another little one around.

Question? Why do you care ?

Question? Why do you care if I do care? lol

This is true. They normally take most of the month off. I really don't even mind it. I find time to listen to the other stations. My complaint is that they never acknowledge it. Why not have the "You're listening to the best of the Kane Show" bumper air before each segment?

I also understand why they can't have non-Kane Show members filling in. It's a nationally syndicated show, so 99.5 would be able to promote their talent, whereas other stations who don't broadcast from there, wouldn't be able to. I'm guessing that's the reasoning...

if we didn't care we wouldn't be on this blog. Asking stupid questions as to why someone cares just makes you look... stupid!

Honestly It really doesn't matter, and I don't think anyone is sitting around crying about it but I think what it does it push people's "the Kane Show is skeezy" buttons for the bajillionth time. Not being upfront when their peers are...constantly gloating that they are better than all of them. It's kind of just reiterating that they are too big for their britches that they boast how connected they are with their listeners but don't give them the common courtesy to say "see you in the new year, happy holidays!" or something.

Also, if someone has a long commute and does like to listen to them to get through it, it is nice to have warning so that they can download a podcast or a spotify album or something. Data aint free.

Again, not the end of the world and I honestly don't think it would even be such a hot topic if they didnt constantly give off the impression that they think they are just the best thing ever.

I wonder how Slims's family feels about Danni now that she's airing all of their dirty laundry everywhere??

Why do I have a feeling Kane has something in his contract that no one can do the morning show when he is off?

In my opinion, until Jingleball passes, he shouldn't take time off. If this is a use it or lose it vacation issue, pick a week over the summer or Easter week or something like that.

I understand her going to his family's for Christmas because they do still have very young children together. She still wants to I guess give some type of family normalcy for the kids.

As a mother of a young child, I can attest that traveling with a baby IS tough, especially when they're fussy. However, Danni's constant "woe is me" isn't uplifting, and her job is to be a positive influence in the morning. Her goal is to be a fun distraction, not a reminder of my daily reality. I can certainly choose to stop listening and reading because of this, but if I think that, others do, too. Pay attention 99.5! She is a Debbie Downer!

^^And the show isn't her own personal talk show to air her troubles. It's meant to be lighthearted and fun, not a cry fest. That's my issue.
