Trump’s Dementia

Right, I'm sure Mike Johnson will get right on that.

But why wouldn’t he. I mean it’s over for him anyway. I honestly don’t get why anyone would continue to prop him up.

Who the hell is benefiting from this more than they’d benefit from literally anyone else?

Well, look at this way. This entire administration is (mentally) twelve years old. Mom and Dad aren’t home. They’ve got the run of the house, a fridge full of ice cream, unrestricted cable TV, an unlimited credit card, and all their friends are over having the party of their lives. Never mind that the lawn is on fire, the furniture is smashed, the dog is missing, and the police are banging on the door, as long as they’re having fun. Which of them would vote to call Mom and Dad in and end it?

Mike Johnson will continue to play with his own turds over the next year, start whining at the end of this year when the Democrats take the House, and then suddenly remember what robust Congressional oversight looks like in 2029 when the Democrats take the Presidency.

Well when the house is on fire, and the damage can’t be undone, usually someone cracks. This is absolutely well beyond that point. Time to call for help.

He can better position himself for that if he takes the right side now. NO ONE LIKES TRUMP. It is such an easy call. Take out the trash already.

This is the most apt description I’ve read of what’s happening.

Is there no one left in the White House who can see or speak any reason?

It’s absolutely terrifying to think about the answer being “no”.

If they bring in someone more responsible, they’re cooked.

Mike Johnson could win the presidency if he cleaned up this mess. Offer a few pardons and presto chango. In fact, how about removing both Trump and Vance, and then…

It has to have crossed his mind.

Except you forgot to talk about Stephen Miller, the evil teenage pedophile next door who brought over beer and continues to stoke the fires and mayhem and convinced everyone to lock the other neighbor kid from Venezuela in the basement.

The sooner everyone is more honest about this, the sooner we save ourselves. Every nice thing we have (clean water, car insurance, fast internet, workers comp, etc) is because we've made it happen through voting, expectations, societal pressure. It's easy to forget we're not owed anything.

The only normy is Susie Wiles, but she survives only because she very deliberately doesn't tell Trump what to do. Her job is to implement all his wishes. So she's not going to speak up.
