The UA has spent most of this week throwing men and armor at Russian minefields and entrenched positions, taking great casualties. Some of the western vehicles they are using are still painted for the desert. There are probably two things going on:
1. All of their professional soldiers are gone, and this is all that conscripts can pull off. 2. This "offensive" is an argument between Ukraine and NATO, being played out on the battlefield. Ukraine wants F-16s and more western equipment. Putting the desert painted vehicles up front is a way of saying "how do you expect me to win with these? At least paint them and make sure they work before you send them here." |
That's positively Lavrovian! Did russia blow up more farm equipment? But no need to speculate, we'll all find out soon enough. Ukraine shapes the battlefield while russia shapes the infosphere, lol. It's priorities like that that have put russia in its current predicament. Meanwhile Ukraine is trying to rescue people in russian occupied Kherson, surrounding Bahkmut, and blowing up ammunition dumps in Luhansk. |
Maybe the young affluent patriots in Kiev’s crowded discos could paint vehicles while they shake off the hangover. |
Are you covered by the media blackout on the "offensive?" Rumor has it friendly media and bloggers are prohibited from talking about the "offensive." I guess the plan is that if it fails, to pretend it never happened. |

I still don’t get all the toadies for Russia on here. Ukraine was attacked, unprovoked, and there are many sycophants cheering on the aggressor. Or glibly throwing shade a Ukrainian efforts to save their country. What gives?
And spare me the “we just want peace!” Pacifist folks who seem to be onboard with unilateral occupation of Ukraine by Russia. |
Won't take much to surpass the supposed Russian winter offensive where they measured progress in meters. |
We are suffering terribly to save a Russian ethnic enclave for ukie oligarchs. That’s why. |
Who is suffering terribly? |
Many, if not most of them, are posting from bot farms somewhere in Russia. A lot of the others are useful idiots- people who think they're in favor of peace, but have just fallen for Russian propaganda. Some of the more prominent pro-Russian voices on social media are cynically taking money from the Russian government in exchange for pumping out Russian propaganda. |
Facetious, my friend. |
It's just our resident couple of morally-bankrupt trolls who also post on the Jan 6 / insurrection and classified docs thread, and pretend that Biden & son got bribes on that other wackadoodle thread. Jeff has explained in the past that they're quite prolific, post all day, and just love coming here to rile up decent, honest folk. Bear that in mind next time you think you might change their minds with logical discourse. No. They're here to annoy. |
Toadies? Are people here really cheering on Russia? This isn't a fan forum. Some people are just trying to assess things as they see it. That doesn't mean they love Russia or Russians. Ukraine couldn't end a minor rebellion. It's reasonable to assume victory is not inevitable, at least any time soon. |
Who is "we"? |
It's such a sad life, really. You almost feel bad for them. |
