You seem to believe that no other country has something called Women.

Here's some news: nothing is more existential than the right to live. Most women in European countries, and also many in the US, get that simple point, and have been instrumental in passing reasonable abortion laws.

I don’t really care what they do in Europe. I live here. Would like to keep being able to do so with my rights to decide how to preserve that life, intact.

That's really interesting, because half the time here on dcum everyone loves universal healthcare and great public infrastructure and all that good European stuff. Perhaps you should be consistent and understand that good policy making requires taking into the account the interests of many parties --- including the unborn.

As another poster pointed out, Europe is actually more permissive than just a 15 week ban. And, if you choose to have a baby, they are far more supportive with leave, health care, etc. in many of those countries.

So, you can shove it.
