I agree that once Taylor and Travis have run through all the jock-girlfriend scenarios and photo-ops one or both of them will feel dissatisfied and leave for something else. She, especially, needs that first blush, full rush, cracks forming, cool distance, jagged break-up, bruised nostalgia storyline in her life. It's her identity now, arguably for both her fans and herself.

Yeah, and while Joe may be talented in his own right, the only reason he has this level of fame is his relation to her. We wouldn’t know who he is otherwise - he’s been in a few films but is very new to the scene and doesn’t necessarily have “star quality.” And no way would he have a Grammy. His insistence on ONLY talking about the work - very boring.

Same with Travis. I’d never heard of him.

See, I'm a huge Taylor Swift fan and also a huge NFL fan, so I knew who he was before dating her. Big NFL fans knew of him because he's one of the best tight ends in the league and has been for some years now. I did not know who he was until he'd been in the NFL for maybe 5 years, though.

I think another thing they have in common is that they are both professional enthusiasts - hype people for their friends and family. You see it in how both of them treat their friends. These are humans who like to cheer for their people. How perfect then that they both get to cheer each other on, literally, from the stands. I bet they are having a ton of fun, and that they both are still kind of surprised by the other person since they are also so different (him: fun, her: more cerebral). She’s also known to have a wicked, dry sense of humor. I don’t know, I’m hoping those two crazy kids make it!

Umm sorry to break it to you but Taylor is the same age.

Middle age is at the earlier 40 but really 45-50 these days.

Travis was quite good this year. He has 3-4 seasons left. He is not leaving until 2 more Lombardis. I don’t think his production will go down much.

Once he retires he becomes a tv analyst so will still be on tv every week. He is likely to try acting.

Likely they get married and have kids.

Travis will be given opportunities as long as he is with her and popular with the Swifties. Unlike Joe, Travis is more than happy to cash in on the connection, which honestly is better for both him and Taylor. Maybe she would have stuck with Joe if his acting career had taken off.
