I normally buy mine from JCP or Kohls. But, they wear out so quickly, and they take forever to dry.
Willing to spend more for better quality ones, since they're something we use ALL the time. Where did you get yours? |
| Crate and Barrel outlet |
| I have a ton of them b/c I like textiles (different patterns, colors, etc.) and they brighten up my kitchen. I get them from Crate and Barrel, William Sonoma, Target, craft fairs, some from Germany (my sister lives there and she knows what I like; they have terrific high quality low price textiles there). You can't go wrong with C and B. |
| Stopped using them because they are not sanitary; one person dries their hands and they are dirty. Now I only use paper towels. |
What about for drying dishes? Surely you must need a few. |
That seems too environmentally wasteful for my taste. Plus, if people are drying their hands after washing them, aren't their hands clean anyway? I'll stick with dishtowels! I throw them in the wash daily anyway. |
| William Sonoma but the quality has sucked this last time I bought them. |
That's what I find! You used to be able to get good, absorbent towels, but now, they're just thin and low-quality. I'd rather pay more and get better ones that will not soak through after one hand wash. |
| I think mine came from Pier One. |
You must mean these: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/seasonal-contrast-striped-kitchen-towel/?pkey=cdish-cloths-towels#reviews Lots of complaints about poor quality. |
| flour sack towels from Wal*Mart. Can't beat 'em for the price. |
| Williams-Sonoma outlet - sturdy, inexpensive, and lots of color options. |

Never even heard of 'flour sack' towels.

| Any ideas on how to prevent your kitchen towels from getting musty? Mine seem to always stink. |
| costco has great ones |
