Taylor will be totally fine. I'm not a swiftie, but she's going to figure out how to rise above this -- I think the messaging of "it's just a friendship, I'm not involved in her professional life, and disappointed to be dragged into this" is actually exactly the right message. I'm sympathetic!

+1
And I really don't think she *was* involved, frankly. I feel like BL asked her to come by their penthouse with ulterior motives (obviously), but that TS didn't actually know what was going on. I can see her enthusiastically agreeing that Blake/Ryan's version was great, but I highly doubt she was told to come over and railroad JB into agreeing. BL seems so incredibly manipulative.

Yes, Taylor’s tween American girl Swifties will remain loyal.

DP. Serious question: what is the matter with you? When Taylor Swift started out as a teen, decades ago, of course many of her fans were her age and younger. She probably has some today too, but the vast majority of her fans are those early fans, all grown up. You know, adults? You just sound incredibly immature every time you make that comment.

It would be a lot more fun to make light of all this (and I’d be totally inclined to join you in that!) if it weren’t for the fact that these childish antics appear to have dragged down the reputation of a man who was just trying to make a poignant film about domestic violence. The guy hs literally spent most of his adult life championing the causes of feminism—and not only is BL seemingly trying to take over his own movie, but she was allegedly trying to push him out of future films in the franchise because she wanted control. And RR appears to have created an entire character to insert into the Deadpool movie (Nicepool) based on this guy that honestly looks like it served no purpose but to troll and humiliate him.
It’s really bad.

Justin is totally winning the PR war. Regardless of how this comes out in litigation, he has won and Blake has lost.

I suspect this is actually happening because RR feels threatened by JB. JB is younger, hotter, and has abs you could use to cut diamonds. RR is pushing 50 and does campy Marcel movies.

Wishful thinking. At 40 JB barely has a career to speak of.

JB is odd, not as hot as he thinks he is, and not even close to RR in his prime. RR is still way more attractive than JB, but RR is evidently a snake.

I think JB is sexy as hell. I has never heard of him before this movie. I think he's a very good actor for romantic lead. I would rather watch him any day that smarty pants, smug voice Ryan Reynolds. He seems obsessed with himself and his dopey brand of fake self deprecation and sarcasm. Maybe when he stops acting 17 I'll find him more interesting.

Totally agree with your RR assessment, but I find JB incredibly off-putting as well. I think a big part of that is seeing the deranged engagement video he made a while back. Gag.

Looks like Blake and Ryan will be watching the Super Bowl at home

Didn't Blake go to the Super Bowl just once with Taylor Swift (last year)? It's weird that everyone thinks she should be attending *every* year with her.

I guess I missed the Taylor Swift era. I am about 10 years older than her and I have no idea what songs she sings and frankly don’t get the hype, never did. She’s not a good musician imo. She is a manufactured generic girl woman. She is ridiculous. My kid is a Swiftie, enough said.

I agree with this.

Ryan's "humor" screams catty gay man. Who does that appeal to, I assume gay men? I don't know any women attracted to a 50 year old man who acts like a catty gay man. Ryan's career over the last 10 or 15 years never felt organic to me. The catty sarcasm thing works when you're in your 20s, I guess. But he's been doing it in his 30s and 40s and about to turn 50.

YES!! In fact, years ago, I actually assumed he was gay. This is before he and Scarlett Johansson married. I remember being so shocked at the news of their marriage, because I was absolutely certain he was gay, due to the mannerisms you describe. I loved him in Two Guys, A Girl, and A Pizza Place (such a stupid name though). But that shtick of his has not aged well.

I think he is always ‘on’ what we see isn’t really him.

Well it's not like she knew that was going to happen

True, she thought she could ruin an innocent man's reputation (and livelihood) without even lifting a finger. Oh, how wrong she was. I am SO glad JB decided to fight back.

He looks significantly better when his hair is shorter and he's fairly clean shaven like this. I find him attractive in this photo. However, in like 99% of photos/interviews I seem him in, is hair is upsetting (long, in his face, or worse -- man bun, ugh) plus his various hairier face options are very unappealing to me. And I usually like a beard on a man. Something about his gives me the creeps.

His wife is stunning. She's Swedish I believe? I'd kill to look like this.

So do I. He wasn’t the lead in Jane the Virgin for nothing. He’s a good looking guy. Nose and all.

Isn’t he so greasy and oily looking? JB looks like he would smell like body odor and hair that hasn’t been washed in a week. He looks stinky. He is not my type I guess. RR is about what, 15 yrs older than JB? He’s not too bad considering. Look at RR when he was JB’s age.

I don’t know their personalities but on looks alone Baldoni is so much more handsome and sexy than Reynolds! Are you blind?! Reynolds is just some generic tall white dude with a big forehead.

RR is just objectively cleaner looking, JB looks dirty in a bad way. He looks better with less facial hair and with a short haircut. RR back in the early 2000s was very good looking.

Your aesthetic judgments aren’t objective.
