He's also refusing to address his ex's claims. Because they're all true, obviously, including the timeline.

Yes. I agree. I’m sure the producers had a lot of influence crafting his “story”. I don’t think he’s as sleezy as some want to accuse him. I think he probably got swept up in all of this.

This. He is actually basic af but producers tried to shine him up nice. He's enough of a smooth talker that the ruse almost succeeded.
