It's been three months. I would have guessed 30 days tops.

Personally, the exterior does not appeal to me as I like a more traditional looking house. It is interesting that the listing did not include any pictures of the interior, nor the back yard, which makes me think that there is something they don't want to just show on the web, but talk through during a walk through. That alone gives me pause, esp at the list price.

There was a link to all the pictures: http://www.homevisit.com/tour/mrisTour.asp?id=51390&ver=

PP, the link to the virtual tour of the interior is in the remarks section, or here: http://www.homevisit.com/tour/mrisTour.asp?id=51390&ver=

Whoops, 16:12 here. What 16:08 said.

Homes in this price range often take 90+ days to sell even if there's nothing "wrong" with them. It's just a tougher market.

Because it's completely overpriced for its size, and no amount of "decor" will make up for that.

This!

Because Foxhall Crescent homes were built in the 1980s and they are so distinctively stuck in the 1980s. People make fun of them. And there's really no way to update the facades.

Also, even though it has a quarter-acre, the backyard looks unusable for kids.

This house has a very distinct style that one will either love or not. At this price point, the buyer wants to "love" their house - why settle? It will just have to take the right buyer. Personally, this house does not appeal to me - neither the interior and exterior wow me.

I assumed the OP was being sarcastic because the house is so horribly ugly!

Too Eighties.

It's distinctive, but not in a good way. And the rooms look small, especially for the price. And god, that couch is hideous!

This is a house I would not get out of the car for -- at almost any price. It has zero curb appeal to me.

I don't even need to look it up.

Because it is overpriced. Period.

It all comes down to what somene is willing to pay. Owners often think their crap is worth more because they love it or they put money into it that they will never get back out.

OMG look at that hideous garage!
