Did you just come out with it? Go into hiding then not say a thing upon your return? Lie about an injury, or fudge the truth about a medical problem?
|
| Truth. I had a nose job last week. And how is your day. That shade is great on you. |
|
If you had a honker, they'll know the reason why.
It was butt ugly so you changed it. |
| Why do you feel like you have to say anything? |
| My brother had a really good nose job as an adult, and I don't think anyone other than family noticed. A good nose job is subtle. Unless you have really spectacular nose, and/or your surgeon botches it, people will mostly think you look better, but won't know exactly why. How closely do you look at other people's noses? |
|
OP, are you going subtle via SJP or severe via Ashley SImpson (or more)? |
|
There is nothing shameful about having a procedure that you need or want. As long as you do not go overboard.
It is ridiculous to deny it and mockworthy. So dont! |
| I guess it's something a person would naturally feel insecure about, wondering if people noticed/not. I would wonder the same, if it were me. |
| OP here. Subtle, like Scar-Jo. She had one in her teens if you care to google. |
| deviated septum ans sinus problems |
| I plan to tell the truth if anyone a)notices and b)is rude enough to ask. |

I got an ear job. My ears stuck out a lot. Strangely enough, my project manager showed up at my apartment for a viewing (I was moving) like three days after. Gah! Embarrassing. He didn't say anything though.
If anyone did though, I would just say, yep, I did it. My ears bothered me for a long time, I felt self conscious about wearing my hair back, etc. It was a great decision. |
| I would love to get a nose job - a la SJP. As I get older, I swear it gets bigger. Just don't have the scratch. |
Noses and ears do keep growing. |
| Woah, the Scar-Jo one is great but NOT subtle. She's hardly recognizable in the before photo! |
