And this is EXACTLY the problem with "citizen journalists". You framed this as Harris' team being told to pack it in. The "source" (it's thin, but I'll play along) says nothing of the sort. It cites strong performances, optimism, and an understanding that the count will take time.

An actual journalist, dying breed that they are, wouldn't have sensationalized the facts to shift opinion. They'd report on what is, like it or not.
