| I hope this never stops getting attention. |
Never? |
Not for a long long time. |
| The comparative level of interest in this vs. the largest mass shooting in America in the same city is really sad. |
| Hopefully some cast members who knew and did nothing lose their jobs as well. |
Something else will happen and we will all move on from this, stop talking about it, most people will forget about it. |
I'm sure you're right. Anyone thinking of going to Disney will think about the death of an innocent child though. |
This we'll never get before a jury. You think the family has any interest in living through the defense phase where Disney would have no choice but toargue contributory negligence. This thread demonstrates people, want to believe that corporations can get us to a zero risk environment. It's not possible especially when young children are involved. |
Agree. |
I live in Orlando and no one is talking about the gator here. I think it just depends on how it affects you. Both are horrible events. Each life is special. One was a 2 year old. This is a parent board and it's a parent's worst nightmare. |
It's weird because, I'm in Disney - and all people at Disney and Orlando are talking about is the shooting. Its so odd so many people are fixated on the alligator when 49 people were killed. |
I just posted that! |
Just saw that! There's a cynical vibe down here amongst Floridians about the gator. They take for granted that not everyone has knowledge about gator and water safety. |
I don't believe this for one minute. Unless, of course, it was three families who were discussing going together and have since decided on something else instead. |
| I would like to add. Since moving to Orlando, I've learned so much about what a hold Disney/tourism has one local government. Year around school was banned so high schoolers could work at theme parks in the summer. It's kind of sick. |
