| The pictures from Riyyad are really bad. I hope they cleared the embassy out before that strike. |
To be fair, anyone actually believing that is a complete idiot. |
Well, to be fair, the ACA was a compromised. In hindsight, he said they should have done universal rather than the GOP/Heritage Foundation solution. |
The US Embassy in Riyadh was empty at the time of the Iranian drone strike, no injuries, an official tells FOXNews Faytuks Network (@FaytuksNetwork) March 3, 2026 |

The lower you go down the pecking order the more you're apt to be stuck with the true believers. The political people at the top were there because they had the diplomatic skill to interact with other countries. Which would usually mean they were generally more level headed. They might have been loud and obnoxious in public but that was to show legitimacy to their citizens. |
+1 Amazing that people like the PP studiously ignore the celebrations of actual Iranians. There is a reason they are rejoicing. https://www.nytimes.com/2026/02/28/world/middleeast/iran-khameni-celebrations.html https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/c2d1zj43zr6o |
Does it work the other way around? |

Can the person who said they are throwing JD Vance under the bus post a link? I’d like something good to come out of this.
I’ll stimulate that the Iranian government is a terrible regime that deserves to fall. Bit it’s not clear to me that an American blaming and assignation is the way to do that. It seems more likely to either result in people there rallying around the flag (short circuiting what was a growing grassroots resistance movement) or to just lead to total chaos and lots and lots of space for rogue terrlrist cells to incubate (eg afghanistan in the 90s, Syria, etc.). It all seems very poorly thought through — I’d like to know Netanyahu’s plan here, since it’s clear Trump is barely following the plot. |
Oh, this is rich. How soon we forget about the MILLIONS of illegal immigrants Biden allowed to walk right into our country, all the while saying there was simply nothing he could do about it. Now *that* was a mess of epic proportions that he left for Trump to clean up. Biden was a moron who also decided to forgive student loans even when the Supreme Court said he couldn't. There is absolutely nothing you could possibly say in defense of Biden, so move on. |
And Biden... what is Biden? Putrid vanilla pudding that has to be spoonfed to him. |
Yep. Millions unvetted and passed through. How many did it take to pull off 9/11? About 35? Democrats are so f'n suicidal in the name of skin color. |
You DO realize that anyone could substitute "USA" for "Iran" in your paragraph and the point would be just as accurate. People here and across the globe would be dancing in the streets if Trump were gone. That doesn't mean we should a)encourage another country to bomb us/him or b) initiate these never ending wars half way around the world. ESPECIALLY when this pathetic 'president' campaigned on how starting wars shows you're weak and prioritizing other countries over the US. Meantime, we have shitty healthcare, schools and services for Americans in America, terrible housing and job options for so many, no mental health, maternity or child assistance, and on and on and on. If only the Pentagon's budget had been DOGED instead of all these other agencies, maybe we'd have some $$ to pay to make Americans' lives better vs terrorizing other countries. |
I know, right? Gotta murder and execute thousands of one's own citizens to make sure they know who's boss, amirite? https://apnews.com/article/iran-protests-deaths-crackdown-aeaeb26493d25d86d5169f8ae455e405 |
Is this a serious question? Obama was capable of leading the most powerful country in the world. Trump and Biden are bumbling, mumbling clowns who you wouldn't trust to drive your child to school. Anyone who can't see that clear difference is a fool. |
