Didn't need the national guard here to do that. You need federal prosecutors prosecuting crimes (they weren't and it isn't the DC AG's responsibility) and you need the funding for the MPD and various social services, which the GOP has cut.

Uh, who was behind the disastrous "defund the Police" initiative? This is the result. And, by the way, it's wonderful to walk around freely on the Hill. Residents are loving it. Even the car wheel and rim thefts have disappeared.

the phrase was devised out of frustration that black men were being slaughtered extrajudicously by police. the right weaponized the phrase. At the end of the day, it is the GOP who vote against funding bills who are defunding the police. The left has not actually defunded.

How would the NG have prevented the murder of the young EO en in Charlotte? Be specific.

The NG in uniform around the station would have deterred the accused from boarding the train. Most of these people are so addled they can't tell the difference between uniforms.

So you want to live in a military state just in case somebody changes their mind about having a mental breakdown? Are people even capable of changing their mind about such a thing?
