| Feeding campaign to my riding horse. |
| I was at the slot machines in Vegas. No joke. I was there for a conference. |
| On a plane on my way to New Orleans for work. I had crappy internet but eventually got to my email. I had one reject and one acceptance. |
| Sitting at a tax law conference listening to the former Commissioner of the IRS speak. As soon as I got the email, I walked up to the stage, interrupted him, and announced the good news to the entire audience. Needless to say they were all just thrilled and we stopped the conference and started celebrating that instant. |

I broke out into a song and dance. Chipmunks smiled and did backup grooves. Birds landed on my shoulder.
I felt just like a Disney princess! But then I had to sell my tiara to pay the tuition.... |

I'm so sorry for all of you who learned of DC's acceptance online or via USPS (((SHUDDER))).
When I awoke that morning, the HOS of Larla's #1 pick brought me freshly squeezed orange juice, a newspaper and the news that DD was accepted! then she asked who Larla would like in her class (we both had a good laugh). It was just lovely. |
19:55 from page one, is that you? |
What!? My OJ was not fresh and it was yesterday's newspaper but hey she got in. Hoping your DD picks mine to be in her class!

man, sounds straight out of a Bret Easton Ellis book... |
Michigan!! I wouldn’t send my maid’s kids there!! |
| IMO this thread should be closed. I can't see anyone ever topping the PK/St. Albans/Yale/HLS post. |
Tears from reading this... so many tears... (of laughter, natch) |
Agree about the PK/St Albany’s/Yale/HLS Post. But if it were locked, we couldn’t bump it up every year around now. We’d have to link to it, and future generations wouldn’t click on the link and they’d totally miss out. |
You need a sense of humor. Pick one up next time you go to Asia. |
