APS Boundaries Work Session Watch Thread

The whole idea that McKinley will move happily together and then will happily split up in two years is complete fiction. Do not feel yourselves. Once they are in that school, they will never want to give it up. If you are in walking distance and want to go there, but are being pushed out by McKinley, you need to speak up now

You have no memory. For YEARS before Discovery opened in 2015 Tuckahoe was the most overcrowded schools by far with the oldest infrastructure. It had trailers where it is unsafe — but miraculously took APS until after Discovery opened to say so.

I'm relatively new to APS. Is this true? I've never heard that before.

Yep. True.

I don't quite understand what will happen with 23190. It seems like a part will move "back to" Taylor (compared to the Initial proposal)? At least that's what the table says. Map doesn't show that though -- 23190 stays with ASFS.

Actually, Tuckahoe and Nottingham went back and forth for years as #1 and #2 most crowded, with each around 140% capacity.
