To a point, yes. But you could tell 11th grader Kristen was the reigning Queen B -- "Regina George" -- of that entire school, including the 12th graders. 12th graders LC and Lo were local, rich and cute...but still overtly jealous of the younger Kristen's stature and magnetism. Learning she was the new girl from the Midwest makes that even more impressive.

PP here and I don’t disagree with you. I think some of his behavior (I called disdain and smugness) was clearly about not wanting to be on the show or caught up in the fake drama. He clearly thought it was silly and preferred his quiet family lifestyle over her glitz and glam.
