Do rich men really desire skinny women?

We have plenty of wealthy friends and none of the women are the skinny, surgically enhanced women described bp OP. Admittedly, we don't run in the big city black tie charity set where that may be prevalent. I think I'm pretty typical as I'm 5'5" and weigh 145 for a BMI of 24.1 which is at the high end of "normal weight". I'd love to get down to 135 but at 55 it seems to get tougher to lose weight. Would my husband like me to be skinny? I'm sure he'd like me to be 135 but at 120 pounds there would not be much for him to grab onto and since we have a very active sex life he seems quite happy. I think most men have a preference for women who may carry some extra pounds but are active and pretty fit.

Exactly. Overweight women have no problem telling you how thin you are, but not in a complimentary way. Can you imagine if we did that to them!? I’d have a black eye once a week..

That depends on height. Size 6 is not skinny for a 5'6" woman. The problem is that reference points keep changing. Now that 70% of women are overweight or obese (80% of hispanic or black women), simply not being overweight is defined as skinny. A bmi of 24 is not "skinny" by any means. It simply is not overweight. A 5'6" woman in a size 6 is right on the border of being medically overweight (Bmi > 25)

Uhh you have no clue what you are talking about. I am 5'6 137 lbs and a size 6. I am nowhere near overweight, and my BMI is 22

I agree it’s not as sexy as a woman with some meat. But sexy and conventionally attractive are not always the same thing.

I think this is closer to the truth. People hang out with people of their own class. Wealthy people feel social pressure to be thin and fit. They have the resources to make that happen. They meet and marry those in their class who also happen to be thin and fit.

I think OPs question isn't referring to Angelina Jolie, Calista Flockhart skinny. Which to me is very unappealing. But to healthy looking women that have curves in all the right places . Those body types are what most men want if given a choice, trust me. It’s all about options and rich men have them. I always say that if you give a man his pick in a mate, he will pick the most proportioned one every time. Average size breasts, small waist, and nice hips with normal BMI. It’s a scientific fact.

No. It is not.

Considering most people lie about their weight, BMI is still 25 which is considered overweight. Especially belly weight which is the cause of all kinds of health issues.

At 144, BMI is not overweight.

Unless you are training hard with a lot of muscle mass your weight is fine . But with a waist measurement at 30 I highly doubt it. But this is the mindset of women these days with the obesity epidemic. People are getting more and more excepting of being overweight and just don’t give a shit anymore. I’ve traveled to England, Ireland and the same there . Obesity population there was unbelievable. This one man knew rt away I was a tourist. I asked why, he said because I was so fit(size6), and we don’t see women like you much around here.

Apparently people are also getting more and more accepting of being illiterate. Maybe take some time away from the gym and from patting yourself on the back, and take a refresher course in the English language.

Maybe it's me, but I don't think 10 lbs visually makes much of a difference. It's not even a full clothes size.
