She hadn't had a DNA test and went with what her family had told her. Shame on her.
Now do Trump and Russia. |
BREAKING:
Warren suggests other documents might come out on which she claimed to be Native American. "This was consistent with what I did" at the time, she says. |
DNA doesn’t make you a Cherokee. A documented blood ancestor on the Dawes or Baker rolls only. |
But it appears she only EMPLOYED the falsehood once she started chasing more prestigious professorships. She knew EXACTLY what she was doing. |
Yeah. That was my thought. This doesn't explain why she considered herself white until 1985. |
The ruling class wants Kamela Harris. They’re taking out the trash to ensure it happens. |
Kamala Harris has her own issues. |
The cnn piece you quote says nothing about "like all the Indians do" Take ONE criticism, and actually give a good link. The thing about recipes I cannot follow in a sloppy article about a family cookbook. Again, the person who hired her at Harvard said her race had NOTHING to do with her hiring.m All this was litigated already years ago. Nothing new. |
Claiming Cherokee heritage /= claiming tribal membership, right? |
No it doesn't! Current affiliation with a tribe, voting in tribal elections, and maintaining tribal identity. |
The best job she got had nothing to do with that though. She was qualified. |
Harris, Booker, Biden, Warren, each and every one is a hundred times as qualified as the incumbent. This is all distraction from the ongoing disaster and embarassment. |
In the era when the president and his associate lie about everything from his weight to his possible conspiracy to steal a presidential election, I am amazed voters/media hounding Warren for her mistaken identity issues years ago? What's up people. This is a rehash of the "but her emails"...
When will we start accepting imperfect, but great leaders? She is human, she did some mistake (did not defraud anyone). Can we move on? She has some excellent idea to take the country in the right direction. Let us focus on her policy positions, arguments to justify those and ideas to implement those. Stop doing the same mistake we did in 2016 to demonize a great candidate for a small mistake, while giving a totally reprehensible candidate a free pass. |
I guess what I am specifically referring to is saying you are racially native american when you are a white person who knows only white people through multiple generations of family. And I am a Democrat, this is awful I don't see how she gets past it. |
- an extremely wealthy fraud. Some might even say "privileged." Or "white" (but that's obvious). |
