I don't even know if race was on the other forms she filled out. Maybe she saw herself as both races, and sometimes put down one or the other. Until you can tell me where she put down American Indian and show that it benefitted her this is a "nothing burger".

The cnn piece you quote says nothing about "like all the Indians do" Take ONE criticism, and actually give a good link.

Again, the person who hired her at Harvard said her race had NOTHING to do with her hiring.m All this was litigated already years ago. Nothing new.

I finally had to break it to him that what's gone on in my family is what went on in Warren's, except with mine the Cherokee ancestor was allegedly several generations back, so was much more diluted even if it was true.

So you are fully aware that you claiming Cherokee heritage would have been complete BS.

Maybe your husband is a hypocrite but you seem perfectly aware of what she did wrong since you'd never have done it yourself.

When will we start accepting imperfect, but great leaders? She is human, she did some mistake (did not defraud anyone). Can we move on?

She has some excellent idea to take the country in the right direction. Let us focus on her policy positions, arguments to justify those and ideas to implement those. Stop doing the same mistake we did in 2016 to demonize a great candidate for a small mistake, while giving a totally reprehensible candidate a free pass.

I guess what I am specifically referring to is saying you are racially native american when you are a white person who knows only white people through multiple generations of family.
