Probably Peyton manning.

But I'm also friends with 2 NFL quarterbacks, one was best man in my wedding.

I've met Donald Trump. My father is in his industry.

Meeting people and spotting people are two very different things

I've met Katy Perry a few times. We have a mutual friend. I really don't think she's that nice but she treats her good friends very well but expects a lot out of them.

George W. Bush--but that was literally just shaking his hand. I didn't sit down and have a conversation with him or anything.

In college, my room mate lived next to the guy did the voice for the duck in the movie "Babe." I had a conversation with him (25 ish years ago!)

Why does anyone care about meeting "famous" people?

Why does anyone care to post on threads that they presumably don't care about or don't approve of?

I used to walk the Bo with the White House groundskeeper every morning when I worked at the WH. However, I never got to formally meet his owners. Only saw them in passing.

Our family took an Alaskan cruise some years back. Made small chit chat with a very nice lady whose cabin was one floor above me. On the last day we (me and that lady) were trying to find where we deposit our surveys of the cruise. When I got home my kids said that lady and her kid were on TV. Thought they were joking. It was the Roloff's and Amy was the lady I was talking to on the cruise. Never knew about that reality show, Big World Little People.

Anonymous wrote:Tom Sellek. They were filming an episode of Magnum PI across the street from my house in Hawaii. I gave him a Coke. Ran into him again at the McDonalds at the Turtle Bay Hilton.

Jim Neighbors. Near his home on Diamond head. I was running the hills while training for a marathon.

Sinbad! 4am at the Dallas airport. I was exhausted and traveling alone with my then 1 year old. My DH was deployed during Desert Storm. He bought me a muffin. So sweet!

Shep Smith. Many, many times. He has a condo in Oxford and goes to a lot of home games. I've been to several parties with him.

No one super big, but I'm easily impressed.

I love Tom Selleck and love watching Magnum! That was a fun show. Do you still have that house in Hawaii?

I slept with Tom Selleck in the 90's.

Are you male or female, PP who slept with Tom Selleck.

female........

Seriously? He married Jillian in the late 80's. How did you meet him?

Michelle Obama (very warm and really interacted with everyone)
Laura Bush (lovely lady, this was during Bush's 2nd term)
John Kerry (this was in college when I volunteered @ his HQ in the area)
Idina Menzel (surprised me how tiny she is in real life)
Tim Gunn (very sweet, but our meeting was brief)
Lauren Graham (she's exactly like her Gilmore Girls character in real life and so down to Earth, big fan after meeting her)
Clinton Kelly (he was very snarky, but in a lovable way)
Keisha Knight Pulliam (not sure if that's spelled correctly, met her when she was teen & she was friends with my friend's sister)
Chris Martin (after meeting him, no clue how he stayed married to Gwyneth for as long as he did)
Rosie O'Donnell (liked her a lot before meeting her, not so much after... loud, loud, LOUD)

If she wasn't Rosie O'Donnell, and so annoying gin other ways, LOUD wouldn't bother me at all. New Yorkers are generally loud - but good people, as a whole. I don't hold the fact that they are who are against them.

Rosie is the worst. I've heard lots of awful stories about her but this one always gets me - my friend was a SUPER low level PA/intern on her show back in the day. One of my friend's jobs was to literally hand Rosie stuff to sign. Rosie never acknowledged her, never said hello or even looked at her even though she did this every day for months. Total bitch.

I remember the Twitter war with Trump. She first attacked him on the view for no reason, doing the impression of his comb over etc. In Trump fashion he let her have it right back and called her out for being a no talent, loud mouth. They were Twittering back and fourth when she got sick from a near heart attack. He posted: "Get better fast, I'm starting to miss you"! Whereby she answered, "r u trying to kill me"? xx
