| DD goes to school with Drew Lachey's kids so I've met both Nick and Drew Lachey. Years ago, when I worked at NIH, I met Barbara Bush and a few years later Bill Clinton. DH's best friend ever since childhood is the brother of Fugazi bassist Joe Lally so I've met Joe as well as Ian MacKaye many, many times. Met Patrick Swayze and Robin Williams as part of a Make-A-Wish for my patients. Both were super nice. |

This barely counts but Michael Jackson. Nope didn't meet him but was at his home, only because my close sibling lives nearby what was once called Never Land his home. Before his big court date he had a party before Christmas. Invited many people including his family, and some of his close neighbors. You couldn't get near Michael Jackson at that party. It was weird because his people didn't allow his family to get near him either. Weirdest thing I ever saw. Beautiful house, very tasteful nothing over the top. There's a private school across the street and he would have the kids over to ride his train, they could eat their lunches there on occasions. My sibling totally believed he was innocent, as did the neighbors in the area. I on the other hand wasn't so sure. He was really skinny imo, I thought he had a drug problem. My sibling lives a few miles up and at night his train lights would shine in their window.
Last I heard a company bought the place. My sibling got to attend a outside lunch the company organized for the neighbors, basically to assure them they weren't going to turn it into a "Graceland" type deal. Long story, but I visit that sibling almost once a year though I live in another state. Sad story all the way around if you know it. |
