The Hannah graham suspect

The bar owner issued a public statement that stated he was certain she did not even try to come into the bar. It would be really stupid to lie to the police about this in such a public way that it could even bring down obstruction of justice charges.

This article gives a bit clearer picture of this guys movements that night. Trolling for a woman.

This is really interesting. I'm wondering about the time between when he went back to Tempo and the records show he bought two drinks at 1:10am. But then the witness at the door says she saw him leave with HG at 1:45am but the bar owner said she never came into the bar. Did she wait outside for 35 minutes? I wonder if they have used her cellphone to try to track her prior locations, iPhones have the Find My Phone app. I think all you need is the Apple ID for that right?

its a good question - why would she wait for him for 35 minutes. for a ride? even so - I would probably have texted a friend and left before he came back out. but that's me.

She was extremely drunk, that's why. Maybe he sat her down at a curb and asked her to wait for him. Heavily intoxicated people are not in control.

He went out a side entrance. So maybe he and HG consumed the drinks at a side of the building where staff did not/could not see them. The front door person only noticed them as they walked away together....just guessing of course.

I still don't think he intended to kill HG, but I wouldn't be surprised if he drugged her and killed her "accidentally" (from the drug interaction with the alcohol or other medicines/drugs in her system) while assaulting her.

He doesn't fit the profile of a maniacal killer, but he sure doesn't fit the profile of an innocent man.

Did Ted Bundy?

Did Ted Bundy work in a stable, regular job in a hospital or volunteer coach at a HS? Did he live in the same community his whole life? I am not one who paid any attention to Ted Bundy, but I'm guessing not.

I think it would be very creepy if he had her wait in an out of view area outside while he went back into the bar to get more drinks (and who knows what else). It would be like he wanted to be seen inside that bar alone or at least have a record of him buying drinks w/his credit card (an alibi).

Right now everything that guy did on that night has a sinister light on it...

Yes he did.

Bundy worked on the re-election campaign of Washington's Republican Governor Dan Evans. Evans was elected and he appointed Bundy to the Seattle Crime Prevention Advisory Committee. Bundy's political future seemed secure, when in 1973 he became assistant to Ross Davis, chairman of the Washington State Republican Party. It was a good time in Bundy's life. He had a girlfriend, his old girlfriend was once again in love with him, and his footing in the political arena was strong.

Yes. Very stupid. Trying to protect his liquor license. Stupid.

Didn't Bundy PLAN his attacks?

JM doesn't seem to be much of a planner... just a guy going about life looking for sex and used to pushing his weight around to intimidate people. JM doesn't seem to be much of a thinker/planner. I think he's probably a killer, but not one who plans his strategy. He's an impromptu killer or reckless killer, if he killed HG.

Actually Ted Bundy had a very stable job, girlfriends, lived in the same community his whole life. He was considering a rising up-and-coming Republican star who was destined to run for public office someday.

Has anyone read anything about why it took almost 2 days for her to be reported missing? Had her friends seen her not come back to the dorm for that long before? I find that so strange.

My theory is that he had a drug he wanted to give Hannah - he would've had access to such things. He saw she was a good target. Went into the bar, didn't want to attract attention since she was underage. She waited for him while he got drinks and spiked hers. Left out the side door and gave her the drink. Intended to rape her -- maybe kill her too, maybe that was an unintended consequence -- and he dumped the body.

I have no idea why he went to the police station other than his family asked him if he had anything to do with it, he said no, they pushed him to go to the police, he got spooked by the lawyer meeting when he realized he didn't have a good story, and he fled.
