Gen Z is still altruistic and has values. Gen Z is calling out phony right wing virtue signaling and phony MAGA values. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1097755069081139 |
The media needs to stop focusing on this group until they are all over 18 years old. I think my 13 year old is called Gen Z. She hates how gross Trump is but knows nothing about politics. Luckily she can’t vote. |
That’s because RWNJs keep repeating Fox News talking points. For example, Diamond and Silk’s asinine “dEMoCRaTS aRe tHE pArtY oF tHe KKK” trope that, while technically true, ignores history, current reality, and the way white supremacists, who were the real drivers of the Confederacy and the KKK, switched parties in the mid-20th century. DCUM trolls still try that tactic when they sense they’re losing the argument. |
In politics, Gen Z means 18-25 or 18-29 Why is it lucky that your daughter can't vote? |
There’s something a little Mafia-esque about promoting Gen Z men as THE most important bloc of voters that Democrats must cater to if they ever want to win an election again. It’s like they’re demanding protection money. If you don’t flatter them enough, in revenge they’ll take their votes over to the side that hates those who (they think) rejected them. “Nice democracy there. Be a shame if something were to happen to it.” Why aren’t Gen Z women being talked about as a crucial voting demographic? Or suburban soccer moms? If someone’s vote is that much up for grabs, and they can’t distinguish between reckoning with our past history as a society and feeling personally attacked, the Democratic party was never going to be their home anyway. Talk about identity politics. Whatever happened to “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”? |
About 80-85% of Gen Z is legal to vote now. |
+1 If you run a democracy by pandering to people who don't actually care about any of that. They just want to be told they are "great." Well, you aren't going to have that government for long. Put on your big boy pants, GenZ. Of you want. Or plug yourself into the matrix. You are half way there. |
👏👏👏 |
All of the Gen Z males I know like Trump because they think he's a badass and because they all hope to go into private equity or hedge funds and want their taxes kept down. It's just that simple. Any other policy thing is not their concern. |
Np here. Just bumping this to make sure everyone sees it. I have nothing to add because your response was spot on. |
90% of the people I know under the age of 35 despise our current political landscape thanks mostly to our elderly two most recent presidents. Younger people haven't been around long enough to have blind loyalties to political parties like many of us older folks have. Anyone viewing the 2020 and 2024 elections through an objective lens using common sense can easily determine how Trump and Biden had absolutely no business being elected most powerful person on the planet at their elderly ages. Without those blind political loyalties in place, it's easy to see why younger folks have become disgusted with our current political landscape ruled by two toxic entities who no longer work to the benefit of the American people. There are times when us older folks can benefit from listening to the younger folks. |
I think most Gen z males want a partner who is educated and can hold a career. It is a tough world out there for young people. Even if they like the idea of their wife being a SAHM, they do not feel confident that they can support an entire family single-handedly. So they aren’t buying into this Project 25 Handmaids Tale BS that the RWNJ are trying to push. |
Compared to older generations, there was a more trust in the government even though it was difficult like getting drafted to war or political tensions, but the government today and with adult Gen Z’ers has been so untrustworthy that its hard to even believe what they think about MAGA and Trump. |
Man, they are stupid. |
