Both of my Gen Z sons also loathe him. |
Well, their GenX parents are MAGA and they’re more conservative than we were at that age.
—disappointed in my fellow GenX, the formerly jaded latch key kids, who now love to flirt with authoritarianism and say totally cringe stuff like “daddy” |
If you think your sons will become retro nazis, because that would be the opposite of you, then doesn’t that indicate you’re a Bolshevik communist? Because that would be the opposite… |
I've been to several recent Trump protests and it was absolutely packed full of boomers and gen x protesters. Gen z presence was limited but my gen z kids can't stand him and neither can their friends. They need to show up on election Day. that they need to understand |
I’m the PP you quoted. I am a random internet poster that has no idea what random article from some random point in the last year that some other random person was talking about in a random post on an anonymous political form. I have never called Gen Z stupid. I don’t even post here like that. Your confidence in finger pointing 🫵🏽 is misplaced. |
Because he’s a conman, a criminal, a rapist, a racist, an abuser, a tax cheat, a draft-dodger, and a pedophile. He’s dumb as rocks but thinks he’s brilliant. He’s lazy and entitled. He’s a malignant narcissist who is stealing from us and destroying our country and the world.
Just a guess. |
As someone in business, many of our companies are CLOSING manufacturing facilities. Tariffs mean that companies can't expand if they don't know the impact of the tariffs. You can't finance and reshore if you don't have stability. Small companies are closing b/c the tariffs are having a huge impact. Only someone who listens to Charlie Kirk and watches FOX news would believe that a company is bringing manufacturing back to the US under these circumstances. You clearly have no idea how business works. No matter what Charlie Kirk says, college is still the better investment by a long shot. Companies are not hiring right now. Too much uncertainty. Any one who quotes a moron like Charlie Kirk can't win an intelligent argument. At least have the decency to quote an economist. |
“One of Trump’s pet peeves is whining” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Trump does nothing BUT whine. His tweets are all-caps lists of grievances and enemies. His speeches are rambling complaints. Everything is unfair, everything is rigged, people are out to get him. Nobody is a bigger victim than Trump. He’s the ultimate snowflake. Re: university degrees being worthless, that’s a right wing talking point aimed at getting young conservatives to accept downward mobility and limited education (which keeps them voting for Trump). You’ll notice these lavishly-paid pundits mostly went to elite institutions and send their own kids there. They don’t walk the walk. As for Trump being Gen Z’s “daddy”, gross. Get some therapy. |
A lot of the Gen Z boys also get their news and opinions from the podcasters, (ex. Joe Rogan) and they have all been quietly distancing themselves. Not necessarily turning liberal but upping the critiques of the Administration. |
X a million. I suspect many people who do support him are either uninformed about his past or too young. He was despised way back in the 1970s in NYC. |
It’s called a generalization, Hon. The collective “you” - as in DCUM at large - not the individual”you” - as in “you”. Are you new to internet discussion forums? |
As someone also “in business” - I need smart people who can turn wrenches, not smart people who can develop yet another app for finding a place to get your car repaired. We need people who can do the repairs. Not a generation of people who can write code. |
What business are you in? Are you pretending to be someone who owns an auto repair shop? #MAGAfantasyLife |
He took their right the to choose.

he been in their life since 2nd grade... |
