I have a little empathy for Kylie and Kendall as they didn't really get to choose this life. They were sucked into it as tweens by their mother and adult sisters. We're probably being assessed for plastic surgery as tweens. Their family life was pretty tumultuous with all the blending of families and the public nature of their father's transition. They never had a choice to opt out of the vortex and by the time they were adults they were deep into it. Even the choice of men and having kids seems to have been emulating her sisters. Kylie seems to be pulling away abit now from the limelight, maybe she wants something different.

I haven't watched their show in at least a decade, but the last episode I recall watching was when Kendall cried to her mother about how hard HS was, and how she and Kylie wanted to homeschool instead. One of their older sisters and Rob both went to college. She could have cried to her mother to go to college and like Rob, retreated from the spotlight. It would be hard, but possible.

Rob was 20 and the 3 sisters even older when the show started. They were already adults. They didn't grow up in the insanity. Kylie was 9 when the show started. The entire second half of her childhood / adolescence was in that insanity. By the time she turned 18, she was already in a relationship with Tiga, was modelling, had a clothing line, had her own cosmetics line / business, was a pop culture famous person, and was a multi millionaire.

This. She has the money and time to make a relationship work with an A List actor - and she’s already part of the celebrity culture so there’s no issues there. Also the Karsashian/Jenners are not stupid or lazy people - they’re shrewd business people with some real drive and talents. As much as I think they are also absurd and trashy. It’s probably pretty fun to be part of that world.

Disagree. Kris Jenner is shrewd with drive. The rest of them just do her bidding.

Kylie is the ultimate pick me/“cool girl”. She likely has very low expectations of her partner with respect to time and fidelity.

If they just did her bidding, the Timothee/Kylie relationship would be way more public than it is.

Just a guess, but I think Timothee doesn't have the cash flow that people think he does, so dating Kylie is a great way to live the lifestyle he wants until his income increases. He can fly private on Kylie's jet. I also wouldn't be surprised if his LA house is empty with a barebones staff and he stays in one of Kylie's houses when he's in LA.
