I agree 100% but this doesn't justify re-electing a former POTUS that failed and/or refused to fulfill their role as Commander-in-Chief when they had the job previously. Otherwise, yes, we need a POTUS with integrity and elite leadership skills and I don't care which party they are associated with.

Our major parties have now learned that primaries aren't necessary and the American public will sit back and allow for their major party leaders to nominate the choice that most pleases their mega donors. Harris' screwed herself when she accepted the VP offer from an elderly sure to fail 1st term POTUS. VPs of unpopular POTUSs have always had doomed political futures. Vance sealed his future doomed political fate when accepting Trump's VP position just as Pence and Harris did.
