I have a better understanding why Trump demanded recess appointments. It’s how these people can be on the job without a hard vote for Republican Senators facing reelection in 2026.

Do you think the average physician in private practice knows how to evaluate clinical trials? Search the scientific literature? Has time to stay abreast of research on each patient’s problem ?

If you do, you are a fool.

We need people who spend their careers doing this. Not people who spend fifteen minutes of time examining each of thirty people a day , five days a week.

I've been working in clinical research for 25 years. The average person does NOT go to PubMed and look at peer reviewed literature, rather they google what they think might be true and find a random person that agrees with them, and they take it as fact.

This is the problem. Then you get the uneducated SAHM saying that her “research” indicates that vaccines are bad and they believe her.

Excuse me - “uneducated SAHM”? I’m a SAHM with a master’s and my SAHM friends all have at least a BA, and usually more. Your gross stereotyping is noted, though (as usual). Any concerns about the uneducated inner-city denizens who make up your base?
DP

Why are you so triggered by this? It doesn’t say all SAHM are uneducated.

The point is, why invoke “SAHMs” at all? Many SAHMs are highly educated and affluent. Plenty of uneducated people in your own party. Funny how you’ll never acknowledge that.

He doesn’t know anything about medicine or healthcare and he literally has no relevant experience in this area.

Now tell us about all that medical and healthcare experience Becerra had before Biden appointed him HHS Secretary.
DP

It's not so much the lack of healthcare experience it's that RFKs beliefs have no basis in science and are actually dangerous.

Ah - move those goalposts!

That's what the idiot public thinks will happen, but I bet this is how it will pay out.

Alllllllllllll of the snake oil salesman in the stem cell arena pour in, promoting their BS as cures for the worst rare diseases out there. RFK has a fixation on weirdo treatments with stem cells.

The only problem is that after 40 years of research and trials, stem cells have gone virtually no where because they've never done anything. They basically just don't work. Won't matter though, as HHS secretary RFK will override and force approvals of stem cell 'therapies'. The companies making this trash will charge $2-4M for their treatments targeted to rare disease, and tons of very desperate people will flock like months to the flame to this pseudo garbage. And guess who pays for it. Taxpayers do, because once a drug is 'approved', it has to be covered by Medicaid if it is for rare disease.

RFK is going to blow up the entire healthcare system by flooding it with tons of whacko treatments that are nothing more than snake oil trash. And who knows what the snake oil salesmen will charge Medicaid systems? $1 ,2, 3, 4+ M per dose of stem cells? Have fun paying, US taxpayers.

RFK loves stem cell research? How does that vibe with the Republican mantra against stem cells?

Maybe voters will stop treating this like a reality show and realize it has real life consequences. Meanwhile, I'll get my meds and shots abroad.

How very privileged of you.

We would meltdown because this is insane. You are ok with kids dying from drinking raw milk?

I am ok with this knowing that families have the option to drink pasteurized milk and are choosing raw. I know lots of families who drink raw milk and they love it. This is America.

Cool, but if they get salmonella, they better not clog the ERs. Treat it with herbs.

Or the essential oils, always the essential oils. But we treat them anyway. It's what we do despite being owned by Big Phama.

I mean, we treat illegal immigrants for free, no matter what their ailments - or rather, on the taxpayer’s dime. It’s what we do, amirite?

Nobody in government knows anything. Government is full of nitwit bureaucrats who are nothing but shameless foot soldiers for Wall Street, Big Pharma, and defense contractors -- who seek to cash in on their favors after their pension vests.

Most people working in the government actually care about helping people and that is why they work there. This is especially true for agencies like HHS and the VA.

Are you serious? Good grief...

NP. I work at HHS and I can tell you that all my colleagues are PhDs who care about public health. I know it is hard for you to understand but there are people in this world that care about others.

Why do Americans pay the most for so-called healthcare, but have the worst health?

The high cost is mostly driven by a lack of a centralized healthcare system, many payment types and insurance companies etc, as for the poor health again no centralized standards. That would u improve things, but you guys call that communism so another win for the GOP.

America decided to commit suicide, and I don't have to go along with it.
I've done the dictatorship/revolution thing before. Life is too short.

Do you expect them to die because voters are stupid? Someone has to be around to put society back together.

And yet, they know better than to drink raw milk and they take their vaccines.

How about these fat, unhealthy people? Is the concern troll worried about them too?

Everyone that is not healthy should be worried.

It’s quite clear that the red states are the least healthiest, unless you want to argue with data and reality.

Yes we do because it's inhuman to not treat the ill, even when their ailments are self inflicted and they are ungrateful. Never met an ungrateful immigrant.

They'll do some performative nonsense. Vaccines aren't money makers, so that will probably go. A bunch of people, especially kids, will be hurt from vaccine preventable illnesses. America will be great at burying our young due to superstition and pseudoscience once again!

MAGA thinks the whole Covid vaccine thing was about enriching pharma
