IT’S NOT ABOUT COMMUNION.

Look, right wingers are going to make it about Communion and make it the outrage of the day.

Normal people are just going to shrug and move on.

Hey siri, how many Christians in the United States? Over 200 million.

You realize not just Catholics take communion, right? Episcopalians and others take communion every Sunday. Even if it isn't your belief, show some respect.

Episcopalian here and I don’t care about this video, nor do I feel a shred of outrage. As far as I’m concerned everyone should just carry on with their lives. Sorry to disappoint those who were counting on my being upset.

I'm sorry, have you forgotten about Mark Robinson and his trans p*rn and his desire to own slaves?

Yeah, I think lots of people have or never cared unless they live in Carolina.

I’m not MAGA. This is just a really, really stupid unforced error and deeply offensive to devout Christians.

Who cares? F**k devout christians.

You must be one of Whitmer's minions.

It’s just… you guys have spent several years poopin all over everything and you want us to take things seriously now? You’re all but literally worshipping a golden calf. No one takes you seriously.

It’s fascinating that some of you think that because Christians may be offended by the Whitmer video that they are all Trump supporters. Time to get out of your bubble.

This. This is the correct answer. Everyone losing their mind: show the video to your teen on tiktok and ask what trend it is. It's at least a few months old so it might be mostly over now, but that would be on-brand for old people trying to TikTok.

Teens on Tik Tok can’t vote. Catholic grandmas in the Main Line and in suburban Detroit can and this is definitely not going to move the needle in a positive direction for Harris.

It seems like we’re in the denial stage of grief now. How long before acceptance and a full throated apology from Whitmer?

Full-throated is a great pun.

I think some of you are fake Christians feigning phony outrage.

If it's supposedly a "Eucharist" then where's the wine? Where was the consecration? A real Christian wouldn't consider it a Eucharist without those elements.

I just see Whitmer feeding someone a Dorito.

Y'all are weird.

Do you really believe that God cares about this when there are two wars going on with thousands being killed every day? Trump's cult are evangelicals.

I am a Christian but perhaps not as devout as you because I have a sense of humor. To bad you don't. Why aren't you incensed over trump and his Bible?

I am far more offended by conservative Christians who spit on the core teachings of Christ in the Four Gospels.

They don't believe in feeding the poor and hungry, they don't believe in tending to the sick and the elderly, they don't believe in giving shelter to refugees.

Yet I'm supposed to be joining arm in arm with them in outrage over a Dorito?

Nope.

You are working hard at being offended on behalf of other people. Sounds like you really want these "other people" to know about this so they can vote for who you want to win. This post is very "see, see, see, look what they are saying about you don't vote for them!"

Whether you agree with their faith or not, you are lying when you say they don't believe in feeding the poor and hungry, tending to the sick and elderly, or giving shelter to refugees. Conservative Christians do all of those.

You'd be fine with mocking the beliefs of Muslims?
