I'm sure they'll give him the same magic cocktail of meds that Walter Reed gave Trump when he had Covid which only a handful of people had access to at the time. If you recall, Trump was pretty sick that time he was hospitalized for Covid.

He was masking in an image from upthread and read the thread. Masking is technically no longer recommended.

Can you explain this? I had Covid this year, and the CDC recommendation was return to work with a mask if testing positive / within a certain time frame. Has that changed? I thought if you have active covid, in the early stages, you wear a mask and avoid people. No?

Yes, the CDC has new guidelines. Covid is now just a cold. Stay home when sick, and when you are symptom and fever free, go out. Just like any other respiratory illness.

This version of Covid seems a little nastier than the previous ones. My 25yo DD spent 3-4 days in bed and is still exhausted a week later. And my friend's older aunt just died from it last week.

I hope he does OK. He looked pretty frail last night. Please just pass the torch, Joe.

Learn the new rules. The pandemic is over, the CDC recommends treating covid like any other cold now.

The rules changing don’t change the fact that it’s contagious. And many people are dying from it.

If he cared about others he’d be wearing a mask.

People would call him weak if he wore a mask. I hope he put one on as soon as he got in the plane, but barring significant sensory issues I would like adults to mask even with other contagious viruses. Common courtesy and all that. But I’m a very small minority.

My 70 year old mom just had it, and it barely slowed her down. And Biden already had it a couple of times.
