He can’t isolate in NV. Not enough USSS personnel located there to work around the clock for the 3-4 days he needs to isolate. It’s cheaper to stick to the schedule and send him back to his already-secured home. AF1 has the best air filtration system on any plane in the world, so he simply isolates in his bedroom on the plane. No one is getting infected by him on AF1. Similarly, The Beast has its own top secret air filtration system so no one is getting infected by driving the vehicle.

It’s hard to be sure what causes decline with either of these seniors, but they are both slowed since their COVID infections. They used to be much better at playing people.
