The only people who had mandated shots were federal employees and military. Everyone else was optional. No one told you what you could or could not do where the COVID shot was concerned.

Don’t forget the college students

Biden tried to force the vaccine on large private businesses and it took the Supreme Court to shut that down.

Too bad no one to stand up for the college students
My kid still has 4 years to go but I haven’t heard anything about removing the vaccine requirement in CA for example

Genuinely curious, are they required to have just the initial dose, or does the requirement extend to the boosters?

Idk! Equally bad for my situation. Maybe they’ll finally let up in 4 years
Oh yes also immigrants! I just remembered, it’s part of the green card requirements.
But those crossing the border and asking for asylum are of course exempt

I use some of the handouts so I’ll vote dem mostly (unless it’s super local) but it’s frankly ridiculous. No normal person wants to subsidize all these people.

I think this is going to be a very tight race and I'll be following VA very closely because it's definitely not going to be a landslide Biden state because as I read posts here there are many who feel as above poster feels.

Nice try, troll. This race not even close to be tight. Biden supporters dropping like dead flies. Trump have been leading polls for several months now, and we are losing swing states.

Not a troll and to be clear I should have said "I think this is going to be a very tight race in NOVA and I'll be following NOVA (historically landslide Dem).

The poster you originally quoted and I am going to closely watch CA, especially the Bay Area

Yeah - that will be interesting. Although I don't ever foresee CA or even the Bay Area going R.

I can see CA as a whole being barely R - maybe not this election cycle but it’s getting ridiculous with the current government

I live in the Bay Area. I am seeing Trump hats, shirts, etc. I’ve never seen that before.

Where are you seeing them?

Biden was the calm after the chaos after the Trump presidency, but no one expected him to have a second term. He screwed up by picking Harris as VP because she’s a weak lead at the top of the ticket. He shouldn’t be running this year, but there’s no suitable replacement that’s ready.

The general public is being fleeced by corporate interests. They want someone outside the mainstream. I wish it had been Bernie, but it’s not, it’s Trump. We’re living in Idiocracy in real life.

Warren should’ve been the candidate in 2020 . She was the happy medium between Hillary and Bernie in 2016, and she was the front runner originally in 2020 until Bidens campaign leaked stories about her lying about being Native American on a college application. Trump started calling her Pocahontas and Warren couldn’t recover from that. Biden was the author of the three strikes bill and should’ve had a tough primary in the season of BLM but he cut Warren off at the knees right when she and Bernie were picking up traction with black voters. Corporate donors did not want an Elizabeth Warren candidate for the Dem Party. Biden made Delaware the sanctuary state of predatory loans, credit card companies, and banking. He was their man, and so the DNC put everything in row to make him a candidate and he made a deal with Sen Clyburn for his endorsement in order to win SC and black politico endorsements /votes in return for a black VP. Given his problem with Me Too accusations, he decided to choose a woman and reluctantly chose Kamala.

Warren combines the likability of Hillary Clinton with the far left policies of Sanders

We were better off with Uncle Joe in 2020, and he will lead us to victory on 2024!

Anyone who still thinks that Biden’s name will be on the ballot is delusional. Hey, but you can always write in his name.

They’re exempt because Congress hasn’t changed the law. Only Congress can change that law.

The more I listen to people who’ve gone MAGA, the more I wonder if they forgot about the separation of powers taught in high school. It’s like people used to remember it, but have since forgotten.

Not too surprised given the issues SF has been dealing with. A major reason Newsome would never be a viable Dem nominee.
