As a Democrat, it all feels hopeless.

What?
The Dems will adjust. They believe in civil rights, rule of law, making the environment sustainable, women's rights, abortion rights.

The R's used to believe in fiscally conservative policies, state's rights, and ending abortion.

Now, their main unifying policy (abortion) is off the list, and they no longer believe in state's rights or fiscally conservative policies.

Neither policy has a clear vision for foreign policy.

In 20 years, the D's have something to build on / build up / build towards.

The R's have dismantled the entire government, made the tax structure unsustainable, and totally eliminated our leadership position in foreign policy. They've made us an unreliable partner and even have brought into question whether we have or support rule of law.

In what way are the R's in a better position to have an agenda for the future?

I don’t believe that the Democrats believe in women’s rights any more.

Why?

And the R's who took away the right to choose do? Really?

The Rs don’t believe in women’s rights either. But the Democrats have gone all in on destroying women’s rights as well. They have prioritized men at every turn.

Pick your poison, though. One of these parties leads towards continued free and fair elections, courts, and civil rights.
One wants to end all of those American ideals.

I don’t think the Democrats are the party of civil rights any more. I certainly don’t believe your hysteria.

Candidly I just don’t believe the Democrats on anything at this point. They lied about Biden’s health, as we can all see.

Trump and the GOP lie as well. But I never trusted them. Now I distrust the Democrats the same way I distrust the Republicans.

Civil rights has turned people into victims. Hand out promises, get people hooked, and when the well runs dry, those addicted to victimhood come running back to the dealer - Democrats. They remain in power that way.

Rights are rights. They are not welfare. I think you're confused.

No, I think you are. I know what they are but civil rights led the way to putting others on pedestals. Black people are pissed because they're being pushed aside for the new voting democrat class - illegal immigrants.

Again, there's no new welfare initiative that has begun. Benefits are cut over and over again. Who is putting money in people's pockets again?

They don't give an eff about women. They want men pretending to be women in women’s spaces.

Actually Democrats have fought for women's rights through the decade, most importantly the right to choose.

Oh how they’ve shifted - choosing to put delusional biological males in women’s/girl’s sports and locker rooms against the wishes of women.

+1 dems throwing girls and women under several buses and then claiming to fight for women. They have no shame.

And Donald Trump is pro-woman? In what way.

Ask Ivana Trump, Stormy Daniels, Rosie O'Donnell or even his own daughter how he does on women's rights. They won't have much good to say.

Hilarious. A party against female genital mutilation and in favor of Title IX sports policy moves 180 degrees because of blind activism and must have "a cause".

Yes, I'm sure climate change affects LGBTQIA++WTFBBQ disproportionately. Got any other pearls of wisdumb for us?

Even more tiresome. Start a thread for the 2 posters that are freaked out about the tiny number or trans people in this country. Stop polluting all the threads as nauseum with your transphobia.

Add phobia to get your way in an argument. Xenophobia. Transphobia. I'm senilemanphobic.

You equate the issue of fairness in a tiny number or women's sporting events because of of a small number of transgender athletes with the destruction of roe. It is tiresome. These problems are not in the same universe.

Have a discussion about transgender people but it has nothing do with the catastrophic loss of reproductive rights.

Obviously your purpose is just to distract from the disaster of overturning roe. You simply can not do that. That disaster happened. The majority are aware of it. The majority are not distracted by your lazy nonsense .

Relegating women to second-class status to favor men affects 50% of the population. This is a foundational shift in belief and support for women. You can’t gaslight me into pretending this is anything other than a widespread adoption of an overtly misogynist belief and political structure designed to disenfranchise women.

Women are so disenfranchised that anyone can join the group. And menstruation, child birth, hormones, and other unique things about being a woman are adopted by people who don't know what its like to be a woman and never will. No matter how many tampons they stick up their ass.

Okay, but you're really telling me that your strong belief that trans-women are not women makes you want to vote to close the door on the expansion of women's reproductive rights for the foreseeable future? That's the part that seems a little messed up to me. Can you clarify?

DP, not worth the effort. That is not the person they say they are.

No. I was making the point, badly, that no group really cares about those rights for women. It’s a chip to play.

To the person who said I was a troll - I'm voice texting. It comes off as rambling.

If you believe that Donald Trump did indeed try to undermine the votes of the American people, and then you vote for him, you are voting for the dismantling of our electoral system. Period.

Democrats are right now undermining the votes of the American people by installing a shadow government that functions in place of Biden. They have done it for the last 3 years, are doing it as we type, and will continue to do so for the duration of Biden’s fake presidency.

Democrats ARE undermining the votes of the American people in secret and lying to the American people.

Okay, but if you mistrust both, then ask yourself which aligns with your beliefs more, in general? Vote that way. Don't throw away the only tool you have.

I’m honestly not sure any more. I’ve never voted for a Republican presidential candidate in my life. The fact I am even considering it, for a snake like Trump no less, is a shocking position to be in.

What exactly are the Dems supposed to do about abortion if Biden does get re-elected? What’s their plan?

Do you believe that Donald Trump tried to overthrow the election?

Do you believe Joe Biden has been mentally sharp for the duration of his presidency, and he is functioning as our nation’s chief executive and making day to day decisions in the oval office independently?

If you believe that Donald Trump did indeed try to undermine the votes of the American people, and then you vote for him, you are voting for the dismantling of our electoral system. Period.

Democrats are right now undermining the votes of the American people by installing a shadow government that functions in place of Biden. They have done it for the last 3 years, are doing it as we type, and will continue to do so for the duration of Biden’s fake presidency.

Democrats ARE undermining the votes of the American people in secret and lying to the American people.

List the Facts or you’re just making sh— up.

Up until this debate, yes. But it’s now clear that the mainstream media has been shockingly deceptive in their reporting and now I am questioning everything. I don’t know what to think or who to trust as this point.

How about your own eyes and ears? It's not like it all happened in secret.

Yes, the Dems have played right into the hands of the beings from another world who are really running our government. Or we could just be in some parallel reality like on Truman Show. It's starting to make sense...

I voted for Republican 3x, then Clinton, then Biden. I didn't and wouldn't vote for someone who speaks in hyperbole. However, this country will be unrecognizable of Biden and his handlers win again. It’s getting insane. And I’m the poster who believes states should have reproductive rights and that women’s rights are being attacked but not in the way the rest of you do, apparently.
