Yeah how to you clean behind those big tubs? And do you have to get into to clean it? |
Me too. What brings child-free-by-choice folks to a local message board titled "DC Urban Moms and Dads"? |
Let the cleaners worry about that. |
No, I don’t. I actually don’t have designer purses but I appreciate the quality and design of the good ones. So I don’t judge people who enjoy them. I carry a $60 unlabeled fabric bag but think fine leather goods are art. I don’t have to own anything. Not everyone recognizes or appreciates quality craftsmanship and materials and that’s ok. |
It's always so perplexing to me when DCUMers think you have to have kids and live in DMV to use the internet. |
Living in the suburbs in a big house with a dog. |
You’re kind of a loser if you’re “child free” posting on a parenting board, though. |
Fancy car
Big house Lots of money Work at a big law firm |
+1 I love them, but would have had a great life without them too. |
Southern climates. |
I’m so with you! Really big houses just give me the odd feeling of a convention center. So much space, no personality. Then you have to spend a lot on utilities. We are totally content with 1500 sq ft and one kid and I could probably go even smaller. |
No one here is winning any prizes, let’s be honest. |
Something can be an experience - even an "ultimate experience" and also a thing that others think are desirable that you do not want. Someone else said they don't want to ski. Skiing is also an experience. Perhaps not an "ultimate experience" but an experience that no one would say doesn't belong on this list because it's a category mistake. Same with the person who doesn't want to travel. I do not want the experience of having children, even if some other people consider it the "ultimate experience" - in fact, being able to say this is something others think are desirable, and I actively do not want it, makes it perfect for this list. |
Oh gosh same. I love my nice flat chest. Sure occasionally it'd be great to be able to fill out a v-neck. But no one is ever staring at my chest, and I can comfortably go without a bra. I'll take it. |
I didn't know that Apple watches work as dive computers! Thanks for that info!! |
