A quick look at the YSR app shows that the 09 boys black team is ranked 33rd among 09 teams in VA. Their schedule shows games in Club to League of Champions, the Capital Fall Classic, the Revolution Cup, EDP and the Virginian tournaments. That’s hardly ECNL or MLS Next levels of competition.

They played those teams in tournaments and I guess the patches they showed ECNL and MSL next I saw were really there and the comments from parents and players about them being in ECNL and MLS next didn't happen. Ok, thanks. And pardon me for not stating the difference in ECNL and ECNL-RL , good grief!! You all act like each of your children are the next best pro player and your clubs are the only club worth being at. I am just saying these BOYS do have some talent and what the heck does it matter to you if this team has some talent it doesn't mean your child's team doesn't. Your hate for a club should not bleed over to the players that are there. Is it too hard for you to admit there might just be some good and decent players there?

Of course it isn't the players choice. But do you think the tournament organizer(s) just put all the applications in a hat and randomly drew out the names of 116 09 boys teams? And it was just your team's bad luck that they didn't get picked? If not, what do you attribute it to?

Ok, you obviously have a beef with VRSC and their teams. Like I said before excuse me for not putting the difference between ECNL-RL and ECNL!!!! For some of the teams that were played, they had a mix of their regular travel players with their ECNL etc. players who were wearing their jerseys with their patches. But, you win enjoy your petty victory!!!

So you won against ECNL-RL teams in a tournament with guest players from their club's ECNL team? Which teams were those? Because the only ECNL-RL teams that you beat in a tournament were BRYC, Valor and GFR. Of those three clubs, only BRYC even has access to ECNL players via BRAVE. So you beat BRYC's RL team with BRAVE guest players on Sunday, May 28, 2023 in the The Virginian? That would seem very suspect considering that the 2009 BRAVE boys team had an ECNL game against NCFC (in North Carolina) that same day.

I'm still curious to know why you think the 09 boys black team didn't get into the Jefferson Cup? You already stated that I'm just biased against VRSC and their teams. Do you think that's the case with the Jeff Cup organizers? Do they just "have beef" with Revolution, too? Is that what Niko told you?

I am not as “smart” as you are with all the ins and outs of each club and who they are affiliated with as far as ECNL/ECLN-RL. All I know is what I saw at the games, so if want to say I am lying or “seeing things” then fine, whatever.

As far as the tournament I never said any organizer was biased at all. I honestly don’t know why this particular team isn’t playing in it. That would be a question for VRSC’s administration. Oh, as far as your snarky remark about Niko, he hasn’t told me anything and he has no idea I am even on this board. He is not even around this tw at practice or even most of the games. He has his own job and his own teams to coach. Contrary to what others have posted on here he does let his coaches coach.

Did VRSC make GA offers following its first two weeks of ID sessions? Are FCV GA players accepting, or waiting to explore ECNL options?

Offers came in mid February and there were enough questions that current FCV GA players didn’t accept right away. They didn’t need to since there was no deadline to accept. At every age group, most players were going to consider coming as a group or not at all.

Revolution has not rushed the process and now it’s looking like they will get 10+ current FCV GA kids at every age group.

Not true. Offers came with a deadline of 48 hrs. When barely any accepted they extended. No chance there will be 10 at every age group. Not when we are hearing of so many defections already.
