The constitution literally calls for it. Clearly.

His voters may be more galvanized, but the rest of us on planet earth will be more than happy to move on from him.

It's NOT what you think it is.

The case against Trump running in Colorado was brought by three Republicans. Do try and keep up Skippy.

It was four Republicans and two Independent voters that brought the suit. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/six-colorado-voters-file-lawsuit-remove-trump-2024-ballot-rcna103660

"...several law firms filed the lawsuit on behalf of the six voters — four Republicans and two unaffiliated."

Again, see the previous posts. The suit was not brought by "Dems," Mor.

The faster we get through the cult of MAGA; the better off this country would be. Trump is a traitor and belongs in prison not running for President again. Trump supporters need to come to their senses!

You can't just make stuff up to get someone you hate thrown off the ballot. He didn't incite an insurrection, hence he was never charged, nor was he convicted.

Facts don't seem to matter to those who claim he is a "threat to Democracy."
In reality, the actions of this court is indeed a threat to democracy.

It's literally in the Constitution that he cannot be on the ballot. Period. Sure, it might have been nice to have seen him lose in an election again, but Trump disqualified himself. If you are mad about it, argue to repeal the 14th Amendment.

IF he is allowed to run, then the Republican party is basically nullifying the 14th Amendment without following the proper democratic process for repealing a constitutional amendment.

Really? In what court was he convicted of the charges you cite?

There was a 5 day trial in Colorado to determine the facts in this case. It wasn’t a criminal trial. They are now sorting out the matters of law.

If you truly believe this, then you need to get news sources of information. The ones who lied to you about a stolen election, Seth rich and Vince foster are also lying to you about this.

It's going to the SC where it'll be heard by a conservative majority, including three justices appointed by Trump. So maybe you'll get the result you want there. I suspect it's not going to be a slam dunk as you might think, though. I'm not sure that they'll want their personal legacies tied to Trump's criminality and insurrection (I mean we know that Thomas and Alito are corrupt and how they'll vote, but it's not as clear cut for the rest of them).

Thomas and Alito want the feds to stay out of election law. Throw Kavanaugh and Roberts into the same category. This is a state following their own election laws.

Are we back to “just tourists”? I’d say I’m embarrassed for your, but you know full well what he did. “They’re not here to hurt me,” right?
