Based on PP being an ignorant dumbass whose kid was likely rejected. |
Agree that it is very much a university. But it because it is small and 2/3 undergrads it has some of the vibe of schools like Middlebury, Williams, Amherst, etc. |
That’s sentence is fine. |
Vibes are cool, but classifications are better. Caltech is also small and majority undergrad, doesn’t make it any less of a research institute. |
What unique things does Bowdoin offer? It’s just a standard lac. |

That* before you jump me nonsensically. |
Agreed. Oberlin does not prepare its students for the real world. Schools like Oberlin rely on the student's family to provide the reality check and if the student's family doesn't have that, or a solid network or emotional groundedness, tough luck kid. |
Bucknell is severely underrated based on outcomes. It's currently #31 in USNWR, but in finance and consulting circles it's thought of on the same level as WASP. |
It is difficult to distance from being all female. Vassar has also tried to emphasize financial aid vs enriching its coffers by appealing to the wealthy. https://www.pushkin.fm/podcasts/revisionist-history/food-fight |
No it’s not. Show proof |
rank these (history/government or public policy major)
CMC Middlebury Davidson Colgate Bucknell Amherst |
They’re already in order, just put amherst under CMC |
They can’t. In these fields, it’s not thought of on the same level as WASP. Instead, it isn’t thought of at all. |
Great location (access to town amenities and outdoors), great campus vibe, and happy, engaged students. |
