Hmmm takes one to know one?

But Schlapp is closeted in the traditional evangelical way with a wife and a bunch of kids.

I saw that too and found it interesting. " Conservative ", closeted gays do tend to know/ know of each other.

It's disappointing that in this day and age anyone still cares about whether a candidate is gay/straight/asexual or whatever and that they have to trot out a partner or family to enhance their image. It is what it is....

If Scott said he was focused on public service and not interested in dating, then it would make sense. He’s spoken about wanting to get married and have six kids, yet he’s taken no action to get there. Does that mean he’ll take no action to achieve his political goals?

He’s a decent looking US senator and should have no shortage of potential partners. I don’t think people care if he’s gay or straight—its his wanting to be coupled up and not dating that’s odd.

Serious question: Why do you care?

You can't be serious. Go read the "keep your legs closed" forced birther threads. They go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about what people do in bed and then they go and shove their what should people do in bed ideas onto everyone else.
no

Way to be literal to the point of inanity. We're talking about identity politics here. Nobody is walking around with their body count public.

Republicans are obsessed with what people do in bed. Sorry.

DP. It's abundantly clear that Democrats (including you, clearly) are beyond obsessed with how one identifies. Why is that the first thing you focus on? Bizarre people.

Yet only democrats are obsessing about it here. Very curious.

People are worried that he has a deep dark secret that he would do anything to hide. That would possibly make him a blackmail victim. We can't have a president who would do something illegal to hide his homosexuality or his asexuality. He should not be commenting on birth control or abortion.

You mean... *you* are worried. Concern troll is concerned. Noted.

How so. What does Tim Scott think about abortion? Seems to be a prominent issue for him. Pregnancy results from things people do in bed. Does he not know that?

You are all over the place and engaging in random tangents. We are talking about the numerous instances of Democrats in this thread raising the question of who Tim Scott is dating.

I am talking to the poster that is posting about democrats being obsessed with what people do in bed.

This is hopeless. Have a good night.

Ok, Good night. This is a thread about Tim Scott. I want to talk about his positions on abortion. If you don't want to discuss that that is fine. But other poster can discuss whatever they choose.

That's fine, but don't interject into a chain of discussion that is talking about something else completely. You're just creating a mess and being disruptive.

Awww. Is dcum not behaving to your liking? Go to bed if you can't handle an anonymous online forum.

Or maybe stop trying to ram abortion into every conversation? Come on, we have faith in you. You can do it!

Abortion will pollute the campaign of every single Republican candidate. Cry to the GOP.

deranged. You're the one saying Republicans are obsessed with abortion? Clearly...

Thanks to them it's the obsession of the entire country for the 2024 election. Good job GOP. Good luck Tim Scott. You have no chance.

DP. I'm not at all interested in the topic of abortion. My single issue in 2024 will be the border. And you're crazy to think that the "entire country" shares your obsession. That's some wishful thinking.

Your sample size of one is hardly definitive. It's a loser issue for the GOP and it's a major issue for women.

A much bigger portion of the entire country was concerned about abortion than the border last year.

It’s Nikki Haley who cares, apparently.

You mean, the usual "anonymous source" claims this to be so. What a joke.
Anonymous
Wow. Some people really can't take a joke - my post was funny.

Anyway, I still maintain that you can't claim there's "visceral hate" from Haley's camp without some proof of it other than you feel it.

It's a little weird they are going after each other like this. They'd actually make a good ticket.
