Girls’ and women’s sports exist for the purpose of giving biological females a meaningful opportunity to compete. Allowing people who were born biologically male to compete in women’s sports will inevitably result in fewer opportunities for women to play and compete.

If a participant's sex is disputed, the participant shall establish the participant's sex by presenting a signed physician's statement indicating the participant's sex based
upon only the following:

(1) The participant's internal and external reproductive anatomy;

Nowhere, NOWHERE, does it say that an internal exam will be made mandatory by the state. It says a physician note based on internal and external anatomy. Because, if you understand science, more than 99% of the time, a person with a vagina will have a uterus and ovaries. That will be more than enough for a physician to write a note identifying the persons sex.

Do you think that every baby born with a vagina has a FORCED DIGITAL EXAM to confirm they are female? Seriously? That’s not how it works.

It says internal anatomy, not internal exam. You do realize there are other ways to confirm internal sex organs, right? A digital exam is not the only way to do this. Once again, the bill says absolutely nothing about forced internal digital exams.

Btw, we can all wonder how many mass shootings with assault rifles there will be between now and whenever the Republicans get their perved out law in Ohio.

Among other things. Ultrasound would be way easier. Karyotyping. MRI. X-ray. Checking the chart to see the age of menses. Many, many options.

Yes, to all of the above, plus this bill encourages harassment without consequence. With very, very few exceptions, everyone has a birth certificate that indicates their sex based on the appearance of their external genitalia. We don’t need expensive medical testing or sworn affidavits to assign players to soccer teams. This bill is not about leveling the playing field for biological females. It is a license to harass and marginalize others.
