The fact that these are the only choices and Colby College is listed first is ridiculous. Colby is freezing cold in Maine, teeny tiny as it’s smaller than most DC area high schools, way too expensive for full pay and just average overall in my opinion. This sounds like the list was someone with an agenda trying to push Colby. Most people have never even heard of Colby because it’s that tiny. I am a recruiter. We recruit from everywhere but especially the top Publics: UC Berkeley, UCLA, Michigan, UVA, U of Florida, and UNC. |

No wonder you are a recruiter. So stupid |
| I’m wondering if UVA is ranked hire because most of the responders are Virginians? Would OOS people say the same? Just curious. |
| Berkeley, UVA and Tulane are the ones I would pick from the list. Agree with the recruiter, no way Colby. |

Recruiters love ND graduates for their collaborative nature instead of cutthroat competitive nature.
They like ND graduates' 'we' and 'us' mentality which is really important in a work environment and vital for teamwork. |
This. My brother hires lots of ND grads for this reason. And also the reason my son chose ND vs. cutthroat ivies. |

It would be all about the applicant and not about their school. Check out this list of colleges and universities of the 1st year law students at Harvard- some are from undergrad schools you probably have never heard of:

I don't think you know what kind of stats you need now to get into UVA. |
No, he does it because he's catholic. 85% of ND's students are Catholic. |
Nope, he's not Catholic. |

This +1 I went to a NY state U on this list and Fordham and I did not have any problems rising up the ranks at fortune 100 companies throughout my 30 year career. I do find the recruiters in Va and DC area to be elitist about schools. Regionally it matters more here than it does in the Northeast that you went to UVA or another popular school mentioned on this board often. |
