| pre QEII funeral bump |

Before we move on to the funeral, I just wanted to remember the Queen with one of her best moments, cutting a Jubilee cake with a sword.
"I know there is," she said in response to a reminder that there was a knife available to her. "This is something that is more unusual." https://people.com/royals/hilarious-moment-queen-elizabeth-insists-on-using-sword-to-cut-cake/

Kate and whoever is the seated guy think this is great fun (as does the queen). Camilla and the seated woman are aghast. Seems about right in terms of their general personalities. Cutting cakes with swords seems like something that should catch on. Let them cut cake! |

Bump for today: here’s a roundup of what everyone wore
https://www.cnn.com/style/article/king-charles-coronation-guests-fashion-ckc/index.html I don’t like Letizia’s hat (although I hate most hats) but otherwise beautiful
Queen of Lesotho: this fabric is gorgeous
Lady Louise: this is pretty and appropriate but looks just like a nightgown I had when I was 10

Technically, that is a saber, not a sword. |

|
Are there any pictures of the dress underneath yet? |
Dunno but that pic goes hard “William darling send the fleet to put the natives down” |
Kate needs to eat so her face looks less old. |

Penny mourdant with that big sword woah

Sorry - she would look less regal if she let her self go like the typical American mom of 3 Europeans aren’t PAWGs |
