Wow!!! People is also reporting the news
https://people.com/movies/jennifer-lopez-and-ben-affleck-obtain-marriage-license-in-las-vegas/ |
| I think they are a great match for one another. |
| Clearly a desperate rebound relationship for her after Alex Rodriguez. I think she is much better off without that bozo but I also think rebound relationships have a very low success rate. |
| Let the betting begin...How long until divorce court? I say 2 years. |
Clearly you missed the news. It’s a marriage now. |
| Surprised she changed her name to his. |
| It figures—Vegas is his favorite place. |
| In the People piece his son is named Samuel Gardner. Not Affleck? |
+1 he was probably drunk |
I think 2-5 years, depending on how long he can stay sober / not cheat. I think they could make it closer to 5, but not much beyond that. I'm sure she thinks she's special and he won't treat her like he did the last time, along with every other woman since. |
Yes of course she feels she is special...three adolescent stepchildren in addition to her two, two of whom are daughters. Good luck to all... |
| In watching her documentary of making the halftime show, I was truly surprised by the enormity of her level of self involvement and egocentricity...really she just is incredibly focused on herself and her aspirations & has a, deeply inflated sense of her talent. It has grown exponentially in the past few years. She views herself as an icon, and is absolutely committed to building herself up further. How she will create and commit to building a new family and marriage selflessly over years seems completely at odds with who she is and her own stated goals. I predict seven to nine years, optimistically. |
| I give it 2 years. |
| When the adrenaline of the sex haze, fabulous mansion and car shopping wears off, what kind of foundation will these two aging egomaniacs have? |
