While vandalism is certainly wrong, I hope this act is not used to tarnish all Palestinians as "disgusting people" or even "pro-Hamas." The vandals appear to have written "Free Gaza" in red paint and sloshed some red paint around to resemble blood.

As an example of a young Arab Muslim who is NOT a "disgusting person," a Stanford student, Abdulwahab Omira, was mowed down by someone in an SUV last month. The driver yelled out the window, "Eff you and your people!" Abdulwahab's response, from his hospital bed, was to "reflect on the importance of spreading love, kindness and compassion in a world that seems to be steadily succumbing to hatred and prejudice," and he called on others to "collectively denounce hatred, bigotry, and violence."

So please let's not stereotype Arab people as "disgusting" or young people as "stupid and uneducated."

This act is disgusting, yes. It’s interesting how you don’t want this act to tarnish all Palestinians and yet the pro-Palestinian contingent are attacking Israeli-American and Jewish businesses, Jewish students, and synagogues. Don’t mind the generalizations of Jews.

They aren't "attacking" them. Stop lying.

Not to mention the situation on college campuses where Jewish students are being verbally and in a couple of cases physically harassed by pro-Palestinian groups. In some circumstances, there were students whose only offense was being Jewish; they were attempting to walk to class or across campus not rallying.

There's probably more to it than that. You're over simplifying. Anyways, it goes both ways. If you're only concermed about Jewish harrassment but not the harrassment Palestinians get at the same time, then I have no sympathy for you.

I must have missed the videos of Palestinian students hiding in the library while Jewish students beat on the door calling for intifada.

Did you miss the murder of a Palestinian child in the United States? The attack on college students? The shooting? The car?

Not perpetrated by Jews.

Omg it’s never their fault.
Beyond insanity.

Put 27 women and children in a room and then toss a grenade in (documented this week that the IDF did this) - bwwahhh blame Hamas.

I am so sick of all of it. Israel is despicable

They are being bombed and starved to death by the IDF - you’re surprised by this?

Nor are all the alleged harassment of Jewish students perpetrated by Muslims. And you’ll notice quite a high proportion of Jewish students and adults protesting Israel’s conduct in Gaza.

they supported the thing that precipitated the bombs and starving.
they said - the thing that started all this - we're glad it happened.

Do you really think that’s what they believe “started all this”? Do you really think they look at 8,000 dead children killed by the IDF and think October 7 started this?

Not what you think, or what you think they should think. Do you really believe someone in Gaza thinks October 7th is where the is stared? If so I think you are naive at best.

The IDF is missing out without them. They are going to need to depend on strong ground forces to get Hamas not an aerial campaign . IDFs weak spot is that

I love how you post a clip of Hamas wanting Palestine from the river to the sea and people scream, "terrorists! genociders!"

But post a clip of Jewish settlers saying pretty much the same thing plus explicitly targeting Arabs and people are like, "respect. Mad props. "

Let's be clear - person. None of the rest of us support that shit.

Oh... you speak of tossing grenades into rooms? You mean like when Hamas terrorists threw grenades into shelters where Israeli civilians were trying to avoid getting slaughter (and raped and dismembered) on October 7th?

How is it that you blithely accuse Jews of everything Palestinians have actually, literally perpetrated? Tragically, a whole lot of people are dumb enough (and secretly hate Jews enough) to believe you.

So clearly the “Israel without question or criticism” policy is not resonating and it’s time for a change. The question is whether people in power will make the pivot soon enough to matter.

No, because one, it takes a long time to turn a ship (Israel wouldn't self destruct overnight, or at all actually, if the U.S. stopped its relations with it, you oversimplify the relationship) and two, the leaders do not want to (rightly so).
So come up with another hope and dream. Maybe non violent political struggle which includes recognizing that the national is Israel is not going to be wiped off the map.

That’s low considering the terror Israel has unleashed on the Palestinians. 22,000 killed and 2 million homeless is just evil.

Israel is a failed state that can not exist without huge support from the US. Only way for Israel to continue as a state is to renounce judaism as a state religion, adopt a constitution and become a secular state.

I’m not talking about Israel “self destructing” and you will find that language nowhere in my post.

I am saying that the United States. Weds to take a different approach to dealing with Israel because the public does not support the current approach.
